Good afternoon Guardians, I think Steve might have blessed us with his weather forecast yesterday, as contrary to the Met Office prediction, it was actually a few degrees warmer today. Still in the low 20's though, so the snow and ice are still causing problems, and the market was dead as a door-nail. The only regular to turn up was Harry Hotballs, ho never stays for long. He divulged the surprising news that he had traded blows with another pensioner, in the pit-village where he lives! The argument started about Harry's electric bike, and the 2 old sods had to be pushed apart by a younger Polish man, who was probably even more surprised by the fisticuffs than me and Tool Man. Tool Man asked Harry how old his opponent had been. "Oh, he were owder than me, he were in his 70's!" Thankfully nobody was injured.

Tool Man treated himself to a new flying jacket for Christmas, so he was swanking about like Charlie Potatoes!

After 3 hours or so, I'd had enough at the market, so I bailed out, and went to Charlie's for coffee and a muffin. My wifi is moving as quickly as Tool Man heading to the salad bar, so I might put my feet up for half an hourHope everyone is having a good day

Just terrible. My thoughts go with them as well. As an almost victim of a brushfire last summer I have some inkling of the fear they experienced. Here in Santa Cruz we’ve been having nice weather with some winds. Luckily no fires. My fellow Californians down South are in my thoughts.

My incessant lollygagging prevented me from posting this Ash Lamb yesterday. It has nice covers. And a bit of a vintage vibe.
