I don't know for sure, but I may have been the first to start naming my lambs. After receiving my first lambsfoot, the 2018 Guardians' ebony, I was completely taken with the pattern and the camaraderie of the Guardians. I noticed the etching on the blade, "REAL LAMB FOOT" and said to myself, "This is a Real A$$ Lamb Foot knife," and taking the first letters it became R A L F. Been calling him "RALF" ever since.some of you have nicknames for yr knives and I wonder how those came about
I read (and enjoyed, from what I remember) some of the short stories from Dubliners when I was in college, but every time I’ve tried to read Ulysses (and I have tried a few times), I don’t think I’ve made it past page 5 or so.![]()
Love the content and lamb Tyson.Happy Birthday, Mitch!
That made me laugh, because I've only read the the first five pages of Ulysses, too. And yet, every time I've seen someone drop a quote from it in a book or article, I recognize it. Because I think 99.9% of readers never make it past page five.

Thank you kindly buddyLove that one David ^
Those GL-24 sure are niceAt Lunch today at a nice Garden Bar Pub on the outskirts of town, had this gorgeous piece in my pocket, I kinda have a grin when I pull this knife to carry as I think of Barrett and him getting this over the line.
I am trying to think of a nick name for this one, either way I love it, Thanks again Barrett, and hats off to Eric.
Under shade so the true colours of the Polish Elevator Roller Micarta doesn't come out, it's a very nice carry.

Once I started naming them, I couldn't stop, as all of them are special to me. So . . .
My blue rope jigged bone Albers became "Roper."
![]()
My cranberry relish jigged bone Albers became "Berry."
![]()
My stag Damascus lamb was a gift from Modoc ED, who was a navy man. He included some cowry shells from Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean, so became "Diego."
![]()
My F. Benini custom stag lambsfoot became "Beni."

Eyup Shepherds, it’s been a while.
I ventured out with my fettled-up 4” AWright this afternoon to catch the sunset and a little bit of frostbite.
Sheffield just over the horizon (last pic)
This may well have been the last ever 4 inch Arthur Wright Lambsfoot for sale! I’ve not seen a single one since? Does anyone know if they’re discontinued?

Thank you Barrett.I love the spalted wood on that one, Steve.

Nice pic of your Cosimo lamb, Pat!
We’ve had plenty of cold weather here in MN (especially this past weekend!), but very little snow.
Quite a duo there!
Great pics of Cassie there, Steve!
Wow! That’s a beauty, Charlie, and well deserved!
Nicely done, Bob!
Happy early birthday, Mitch (although I guess by this point it’s only a few hours away on your time)!

Very nice, Duncan. I’m glad you like the knife so much! I can only take a little credit; Eric did all the hard work!![]()
Ken.Hello all!
Need to be more mindful of taking my lamb out so I have something to share. I noticed some of you have nicknames for yr knives and I wonder how those came about. Been thinking what to name mine o if it has to be named by someone else.
Have a great weekend!
Ken

Thanks brother!
" Numero Uno " would also be most appropriate for that magnificent piece of craftmanship. An outstanding Lambsfoot. My cranberry relish jigged bone Albers became "Berry."
