That old discussion; should I use it, or keep it mint!!Original Charlie lamb slices grape tomatoes very cleanly for my tomato and cheese sandwich. I am still balking at putting the new one to use and losing the blade etch.
Yes indeedWhat a beauty !
I hope you get better soon !

That old discussion; should I use it, or keep it mint!!
I say keep the value of the new one, until the original is worn out!!
I'm back to this one for daily use!! But I admit to carrying the Flat Cap once in a while, just 'cause it feels nice!!!!

In the days before bed liners, grandpa used to break in a new truck by throwing a few cinder blocks in the bed and driving down a washboard road - otherwise, he said, he'd be hesitant to use it for what he bought it for! That old discussion; should I use it, or keep it mint!!![]()

Ha Ha!! I couldn't wait to get a (little) scratch on my truck, so I could stop worrying about it!! I'm in your grandpa's ballpark for sure!!In the days before bed liners, grandpa used to break in a new truck by throwing a few cinder blocks in the bed and driving down a washboard road - otherwise, he said, he'd be hesitant to use it for what he bought it for!![]()
My first new four wheeled vehicle was a 1995 Ford pick-up. Somewhere around nine months in, I backed it into a tree on my property and put a dent in the passenger door. My response was, "Welp, got that out of the way"Ha Ha!! I couldn't wait to get a (little) scratch on my truck, so I could stop worrying about it!! I'm in your grandpa's ballpark for sure!!
That is kind of my plan. That old discussion; should I use it, or keep it mint!!

In other news, The Magic City is experiencing less than magical weather - humid, overcast, tepid... and yet, it's scheduled to drop down to 59°F tonight which is a bit colder than I prefer, especially when I'm sick.
Oh yeah, I'm still sick. Last night was wild. I had a fever and felt like I had eaten an entire large bag of the wrong kind of fungi. I had an impromptu vision quest while huddlng for warmth under a blanket on the couch and when my girlfriend asked if I was alright, I replied "elves." I think I was thinking about The Hobbit, or was in The Hobbit, or something. Stupid fever.
The new Jeremy-crafted slip for my Charlie lamb should be arriving tomorrow. She'll be happy to get out of the equivalent of FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) housing and into more comfortable digs - assuming USPS is done soiling the bed.
Congratulations Mitch
Another great pic Steve
Nice to see it
