Dumb question from the mango challenged:
Does one eat the skin like an apple or peel it like an orange?

It’s technically edible but not pleasant so cut the flesh out.

The standard way it to cut half off each side of the seed and then cross hatch cut it. Then you push in the middle from the seed side and it pops up like in the photo.

Billy ate some and the rest went into a mango smoothie

The GL-24 has darkened up considerably with daily carry - it's more of a dark brown now. From past experience with micarta I know I can restore it to its original color with a little liquid dish soap, but I'm enjoying how the look is evolving for now.

I've seen it done both ways. Some people just pick them off the tree and start eating, others, including some who are mildly allergic to the skin but not the flesh, will peel it first.

I like mine sliced very thin - like sashimi, served very cold, and with a splash of lime juice. Sometimes I sub out the lime juice for whipped cream. It's practically health food!

As for the skin, I don't mind it either way.

Bit of a merchant banker actually, didn't come as a great surprise really! Heard Steve Ignorant was more grounded, but I never really liked Crass. I saw the UK Subs in '81, and most recently, in Holland, 20 years ago. I think Matt saw them quite recently (I think he might even be still in a band)! I preferred the older Punk bands though, 1977 was a good year to be 16 Great pic Will

Wow Bob - what a beauty, they said I will need a new Hip when I am 50, I just turned 61 and no where near needing one- I am pretty excited as I can walk around without much of a limp at the moment! I am hoping to get it so I can just simply maintain things with stretching!
