Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Generous Bob strikes again! This beauty just arrived - made by @ashwinearl, sent to me by Rufus1949 Rufus1949 . I had admired this when Bob posted pics, but I think it may be even prettier in person - my quick pics here certainly don't do it justice.

It's interesting that this has three features I usually like in slipjoints, but that are rare in lambs - it has a shield, a half-stop, and a long pull. It feels like a very American-style lamb.

Many thanks, Bob - this will be enjoyed (and carried and used) quite a bit!
As it should be Tyson.😃

Thanks Steve 😎
They look delicious Mitch. Good use of your lamb.👍🏻
They were Bob, had worked up an appetite was a cooler day so I spent most of the day autumn pruning.
Maybe next time I should request a Sheppard's pie.
That blade is looking cool.

Gone to a worthy bloke, Congratulations Tyson.

Very good of ya Bob!

Good morning, Guardians! I added a new (old) book to the home library. A fine 1993 first edition of one of Levine’s essential volumes, published by the Courage Books imprint of Quintet Publishing Ltd on Blundell St in London. What a beautiful book.

Sad to report that my favorite local Irish Pub was slammed full of amateurs well before 5pm yesterday when I drove by so I didn’t take any lambs out for a walk. I did enjoy a nice evening at home with this book and my own bar. No Guardian appropriate pics taken. Wife is out of town so our dogs and I watched the excellent documentary about the history of the legendary Muscle Shoals Alabama music recording scene at top volume. 🎙️🎸🥁🎶

I heartily agree that the Muscle Shoals documentary is excellent and should be viewed with the volume turned up 😁👍

I am pleased with the Rosecraft sodbuster I bought recently, and I am giving much thought to buying a Senator. Do you like yours?

Question #1 Do you use your own ball?

Question #2 If you do….Is it clear with a rose 🌹 in the middle.

If you are gonna hustle these dudes do it with some class 😂

Great movie! 🤣

Evening all
Fellas maybe you better not look....

Home made meat pies for dinner, there's a dash of Henderson's in the sauce.

Oh man, Mitch, those look fantastic! 😋

It's their coaching what's made me like this!! I have a 94-year-old woman telling me things like "I can't wait to see what you'll be able to do when you're bowling at your full potential!"

True story, my coaches probably have about 500 years of combined bowling experience between them!! 🤣🤣🤣 Additionally, I've been loaned multiple books on the sport and am expected to read and apply the teachings post haste.

It's no wonder (nor my fault) that I'm getting better at a rapid pace!! 🤣

You’re being groomed. 😉🤣

That’s awesome, Tyson! Well done, Bob!

Enjoying a nice contemplative bowl of fine English made tobacco at work. Had my sister in law go into my El Paso stockpile and send me the good stuff. Life’s too short to not enjoy the finer things. Stag Charlie in the pocket.

Cool looking pipe, Paul. Is it a bit of a nose warmer, or is that just the angle of the photo?

Today I headed over to St. Paul to have a look around Ax-Man Surplus. I posted about this place the first time I went there last year. That post (here’s a link) covered the general eccentric vibe of the place, so I didn’t really take any new pics today, but I did spot Davy Crockett browsing some electronic components. 🤣

I think he’d fit right in at the Leed’s Thursday market. 😁

I had my Albers Lamb in Ringed Gidgee with me today. I recently realized that I was almost out of my favorite pens, so I had put in an order for a new box, which showed up today.

Wow, well done Mitch, they look delicious 😋 I'm embarrassed to say that I can't remember the last time I made a meat pie - apart from a Shepherd's pie or Cottage pie! :D
Looking good Jer :)
Superb Steve, love that jigging :) Great shot too, though I'm not sure Lucy would like that position! :D ;)

Sounds like you're having fun Dave :)
I thought those knives were stainless! 🤣

Edit - Ah, D2! :D That's impressive patina for D2 Bob. I just checked mine, and it has a few marks on the blade, even though I've only carried it a couple of times
A fine Tuesday morning here in Santa Cruz. I’m enjoying my knife and a cup of coffee along with the critters.

1. No. I use the most beat-up range ball I can find. "Doing more with less" - that's my motto!! 🤣

2. I wish.

I saw a pair of gold (like, sparkly gold!!) cow leather bowling shoes, with crocodile-hide inlays, on eBay in my size, but at $200 for the pair, a touch outside my current reach. Bowling goals. 🤣🤣🤣
LOL! Make sure they don't have you signing contracts Will! :D
This is an emergency post, since I saw that we are fourth from the bottom on page 1.

Looking nicely lived-in :)
A busy day today for me handling company problems while I am trying to complete a large project 🤪
But I did find a couple of minutes to snap a photo:

Stockpiling stuff is a young man's game, but a hard habit to break! :D Great pic Paul :)
Flash and a new friend.
Lilly was given it for her birthday, as she knows I love dragons she gave it me. As dragons have treasure hoardes. Maybe I should make it protector of the lambs and name it Bob-Jack😁

Cute! :D
Nice Big 'Un David :)

Nice to see the Pile side Jer
