Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Had a great time, Jack. Kind of a warmup for OKCA in Eugene. Was told that show is like 3 times the size. Looking forward to that next weekend.

Oh Barrett drives a hard bargain alright. Probably easier to talk the King of England out of his crown 😂😂.

Hope you are feeling better my friend.
Getting there, thanks, buddy
Evening all

No breakages I hope Bob, great pic :)

I better get some photos posted! :D Matt picked me up just after 9am, and we headed up the road to a great local cafe for breakfast. Wolfie had said he was going to be late, for reasons which varied every time he told the tale, but he was true to his word in being late at least. It saved me the cost of his breakfast  Me and Matt had a hearty Full English, with orange juice and coffee 😋 Wolfie sloped in just as we were finishing our second cup of coffee, and walked back to the car. It was a bright sunny day, and we had plotted an attractive route, across the Harewood estate, and along quiet country roads to Bolton Abbey.

The 'Golf Balls' on the right of the photo below are part of RAF Menwith Hill, or 'The Secret Spy Base', as some of the locals call it. Possibly, one or two Porch members are even familiar with it.

Good morning, Guardians. Blustery weather in North Texas. I’m heading to a friend’s family place in the country for some stock pond fishing, grilled steaks, cigars and whiskey under the stars, which means an overnight at the guest house tomorrow night. Carrying the Bayou Trapper Lamb and other supplies. Hopefully I will have some fun photos to share when I return. Happy Tuesday to all!IMG_7974.jpeg

Absolutely glorious photos, Jack!

Our first port of call was the afore-mentioned Craven Arms at the tiny village of Appletreewick.

There was still 10 minutes before the pub opened, so I took some more photos, having previously had to take them through the windscreen, on some very bumpy country roads.

Matt was glad to get out of the car for a bit.

Wolfie, pleased with his (largely undeserved) party bag.

The Gaffer! :D

IMG_9130.JPG

Wolfie was lucky the stocks were locked!

IMG_9127.JPG

We had a look round the back at the thatched Cruck Barn.

And I exceeded the number of files to attach! 😖

The weather forecast was good...

IMG_9145.JPG

So we sat outside :)

IMG_9148.JPG

We could have sat there all day, but time was marching on, and we had a long way to go before nightfall.

The road passed through a number of small villages.

Fleet Moss features the highest paved road in Yorkshire. The wind was pretty wild at the summit, and bitingly cold 🥶

We continued onto the market town of Hawes, which didn't actually look very open
