Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Speaking of pull weights on opening the blade... Once you get the spring to move it's a pretty easy pull open/closed. It's just getting the spring to break open that can be tough. Thank God for no half stops. But I only have the one for comparison, so we will see after I acquire more of them.

Looking good my friend :)

Cool pics, that's some nice stag there, makes me want to carry my own, it hasn't seen any pocket time for a while. I was bought this one a good few years ago now, but the stag it came with was awful. I contacted Wright's, and they made me a new one with Sambar. That was my first contact with the firm

Sure is cold here today, particularly after 3 hours lollygagging on the market. I added several extra layers, got back home an hour ago, and I still haven't fully warmed up! Warming my hands on this 'un ;)

Jack, I recall reading your posts about your senator. I was convinced I would be receiving a knife of similar quality to that one. Boy was that the worst stag handle I think I’ve ever seen. Somehow I got lucky! I’m glad they replaced it for you. After rounding off the corners on the bolsters, it’s a rather pleasing knife to hold.

I also never tire of seeing that gorgeous ironwood. I hope you were able to get your hands warmed up on it!

draggat draggat Beautiful Sambar on your Senator! :)

Jack Black Jack Black A big  on your Sambar Senator as well my friend! :D

I decided to take my Senator out for a while today! It’s not as attractive as those beautiful Sambar models but it’s the only one I have! :)

Thanks! Yours is beautiful too! Black is alsways classy.

Here’s my lambfoot lineup. I saw this old book my dad gave me when I was a kid. Made me wonder if Holmes or Dr. Watson would carry a lambfoot and if so, which one?! It’s been years since I’ve read these stories but I don’t recall much mention of pocket knives.

It's snowing today which gives the scenery out my window a grey and white palate. So I will add a Wee bit of color with my AC.:D

Nice colorful picture Dave! Are those Mardi Gras beads on steroids ?

Got this sharpened Monday night. Took a nice keen egde:thumbsup: It's been in my pocket since, I really like the size and the narrow blade. It's a good slicer.

Good to see you here Randy  Don't you have a few? I'll send another your way soon my friend

I do have about 5 Jack most from you my friend and you have sent me plenty and have been most generous so no need to send more I was just thinking about pricing and wanted to see if anyone knew of an US dealer sorry didn't mean to detour the thread.

lol, Rob, My wife belongs to the local Art Guild, mostly paintings although there are a few that do stained glass, beads etc this was one of the etc's :p:D

Been looking at the Guardians map. We're going to have to start taking over other continents. Looks like a lopsided game of Risk!

It is overwhelmingly North American at the moment. :D I think Jack's the only one on the map so far not in the US or Canada. o_O

LOL! You got me outnumbered guys! :D

I think Wright's QC has come on leaps and bounds over the past 10 years. Because of the double bolster, they're able to use small pieces of vintage Sambar for the covers, and reserve it for the pattern :) Wrights were really good when I complained to them, I couldn't have asked for more :) I'm glad you're pleased with the knife after sweetening it up

Thank you very much, I'm looking forward to seeing more Ironwood in 2019

You are the Godfather of Generosity Randy! :D The problem with that kind of question is that it elicits a response, and inevitably leads to a commercial discussion. I'll send you a PM my friend :) Be great to see those knives of yours

Such a good-looking knife Vince :)

Morning Guardians, Friday is here again :) Hope everyone has had a good week, and is looking forward to the weekend

Carrying my ebony '18 for Black Friday

'Cos I got no time for the jibba-jabba! ;) :D

How 'bout you?
"I pity the fool that don't like a lambsfoot!"

Edit: Ron beat me to it! He must get up really early. ;)

One of my favorite lines was when he was tied up and held at gunpoint by the bad guys in the back of a van, Mr. T said: "I bet you wear panty hose!" to one of them. The bad guy hit Mr. T with the butt of a rifle, and Mr. T just glared at him. And got even soon thereafter.
His character's name was "B. A. Barackus" (not sure of spelling on last name). And, yes, I think B. A. stood for "Bad A__"!
