Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Shirley and Mr T. reminded me of this. 1982, apparently. Leslie Nielsen was hosting something cultural and Mr. T was singing soprano and acting as butler.
You'd probably want an ebony lambsfoot with black tie.

Because I “Pity the poor fool” who doesn’t! :p:eek::D

Brilliant Ron! :D

"I pity the fool that don't like a lambsfoot!"

Edit: Ron beat me to it! He must get up really early. ;)

One of my favorite lines was when he was tied up and held at gunpoint by the bad guys in the back of a van, Mr. T said: "I bet you wear panty hose!" to one of them. The bad guy hit Mr. T with the butt of a rifle, and Mr. T just glared at him. And got even soon thereafter.
His character's name was "B. A. Barackus" (not sure of spelling on last name). And, yes, I think B. A. stood for "Bad A__"!

Well done Vince, you deserve credit anyway I think :D

Yes, 'Bad Attitude' ;)

The first time I came across Mr T (in the press), he was one of Muhammad Ali's sparring partners

That's very colourful my friend :)

Cool pic Jer :D And another of your Lambsfoot

Great picture Jack.

Your breakfast looks delicious... Much better than Jack's fruit :D

This is my first recycled Lambsfoot picture
But I like the way this picture shows off the African Rosewood handles...

Thanks pal, you too :)

On our trip to Seattle, sitting in a restaurant, I heard an old couple ordering their food. The wife asked her husband if he'd share a big salad with her? The husband responded, "I'd rather be fat than eat a salad." My kids and I couldn't stop laughing, I'll remember it forever :D

Good luck with the dieting my friend, it takes a lot of self-discipline.;)

Thanks Dave, at least I have salad to look forward to later, and sitting in the pub watching a couple of friends drink beer! o_O

A special collection, Randy - each with a nice connection!!

In my endless quest to organize my knife drawers and boxes, I came across this C. Johnson, Western Works Lambfoot.
It has reddish jigged bone handles, that are very nicely pocket-worn, and a well-worn blade.
It also has great walk and talk, almost shouting "God Save the Queen!!!(Or Prince Philip, today!! The wheels go on the bottom, PP)
Anyhoo, the blade was a little "wavy", so I gave it a preliminary edge, heading it on its way to straightening out, without wasting too much steel! Took a nice edge!! So I am going to carry it for a week or two - it's just got that "Lambsfoot something!!":)

There is no country of origin marked on the knife (i.e. ENGLAND). I wonder where it has stopped on its path to my pocket?

Speaking of health food, if you were offered a Spam and kippered herring pie, which way would you run?
zxAEof5.jpg

With quartered brussels sprouts and butternut squash. Or turnip maybe.
I have recipes, but I'm too lazy to follow them.

I can't run fast these days, but it'd definitely be AWAY! :D I've had corned beef pie plenty of times, pretty nice :)

Here they are Jack. Two from you, Two from @mrknife and one I bought.

Can you spot your AC among these (I remembered I sent one to @pmew, and gave one to my mate who got married too - should have taken pics! :D)?

Just walked home from the pub in falling snow, wish I'd had my camera with me, it was falling pretty fast, and has settled, our first snow of the year :) I was glad I had a warm coat on, with a hood! :D

Hoping to visit Kirkstall Abbey tomorrow if I'm not snowed-in ;) :D Hope everyone has a great weekend
