Nice design DavidCool pics jack.I've got a firebox one but no pics. Don't have a Kelly Kettle. Should probably get one someday.
That's a very efficient looking flask.View attachment 2848899
Nice design DavidI'm a bit out of practice using them
Kelly Kettles are great, but it depends what you want it for really, they're bulky to carry, and pretty heavy, but they sure do boil fast
I was surprised how few pics I had of mine

Happy and a little sad the show is over to be honest. Gives me something to look forward to I suppose.Welcome back buddy!Nice choice, I pause to admire Jeremy's skill several times a day

I always enjoy how you bring the best out of your cutlery Dwight.
By Yoko Onos Peace Tower (yeah, I know). During that time in the winter when the darkness is here, it shoots a strong beam of light straight up into the air that can be seen from afar. Sort of like the more famous Bat-signal in Gotham City

Don't go softening that spring! That's a very efficient looking flask.
My new candle works, by the way. Next time I'll let a candle settle down a bit before I panic and trim the wick, but I think I just about got away with it.

Oh, no, I smell something burning!![]()
Thanks buddy, mainly used them for day hikes. I tried just about everything while backpacking, but gas is hard to beatHappy and a little sad the show is over to be honest. Gives me something to look forward to I suppose.
Enjoyed the picture of your kettle setups. I always used the butane ones but the wood burning ones have perked my interest. Would be nice to eliminate the bottle of gas.
Thanks Steve, changing phones is not something I look forward to, I've had more fun breaking a leg! Thanks Jack !
Great pic of your Albers ! Congrats on the new phone, what did you get ?
Crazy, the things you have to do!Went to an event last night that had unclear rules about what was allowed in your pockets… long story short, they said I could either surrender my knife (NOT gonna happen) or put it away and come back through the line.
Needless to say, I chose the second option. Wasn’t about to walk the mile or so round trip to my car and back so I took my chances in an unassuming looking bush where there was no foot traffic. I’m thankful to say that after the event, it was right where I left it! Phew. Lesson learned, I guess I’ll be leaving my pocket knives in the car from now on. Turns out some people view them as dangerous weapons
