Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week :) I made the mistake of opening a cold bottle New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc last night, and an hour letter I had drank it! 😁 I then decided to open a bottle of Australian Cabernet Sauvignon, and drank that too :D Strangely, I feel perfectly fine today :) I'm not sure about work today, but I'm going to head to town in a bit, to buy a few provisions for the weekend. Thought I'd treat myself to another Double Lambsfoot Day ;) Have a great day everyone

I'm glad that you're not suffering a hang over, my head hurts just thinking about it. 😲

Great picture buddy πŸ‘

Life got alittle easier today. After being bounced around several government agencies this past month, I received my military discharge papers.

What a great looking Barlow !

TGIF, Guardians! Charlie’s Lamb again. What a knife. No time for lollygagging today. My parents are coming to visit us for a few days. Have to get the place ready for the elder invasion before I pick them up at the airport later. I am excited to share some of my new knives with dad. Mom is excited to see the cats and dogs. πŸ‘ 🐈 πŸ•

You are a better man than me, Jack. I would be popping aspirin right now.πŸ€•
Two fine lambs to balance your pockets.
Thanks Bob, I'm making up for the weight I've lost recently! πŸ˜‚

I hope you asked for a 'demob suit' too! :D ;) Fabulous Cosimo Lamb my friend :)
I never wanted to take benefits from those who needed it more in the past.
You are and kind and thoughtful soul Bob :)
Nice to see Rose Beast Jer
Congrats on your "freedom" Bob! Beautiful Barlow, too. I'm still dancin' with Berry.

Thanks pal, I had never had a hangover until I was 50 :) I didn't realise I had a super-power until it was gone! I still do pretty well though ;)

Enjoy showing off your knives Dave :)

I hope everyone is having a good day :) I had coffee at Charlie's cafe, and then spent several hours in town, ticking off quite a few errands along the way, and doing some shopping. I also needed to go to the bank for a cheque, cheque books being a thing of the distant past here. A couple of the charities I give money to have no way to pay online strangely  I had pho for lunch in the market πŸ˜‹πŸ‘

Good Friday to you Guardians. I’m enjoying some coffee with this lamb and a turkey. The cats are here too but are photo shy today. Butterball is 4 or 5 years old so he’s an elderly turkey. The first batch of turkey babies have arrived. Sadly the survival rate isn’t good for the little ones. I have noticed some turkey moms are pretty protective, some not so much. Well time to get out and do some errands. Nice market report Jack.

Thanks for reminding me of something delicious to eat Jack.
I still use checks myself.

As for the barlow,I really like the heft of this handle Jack, it fits my hand well.
Happy Friday Guardians !

You have some incredible old Lambs my friend :)
Are my eyes deceiving me or is this penknife sporting a lambsfoot blade? Can't remember seeing one of those before.

Thanks Kurt, I'm afraid it's been rather dull recently. Nice to hear what is happening your backyard :) Do the cats and turkeys get on OK? I used to have a friend who got a kitten and a young ferret at the same time, and they were very close, and kind of swapped mannerisms :D Great shot there buddy, that's a really nice Lamb

Really? I wondered if it would vary between our respective countries. I can't even remember the last time I used one, let alone wrote one myself. The number of brick and mortar banks is also diminishing rapidly here, it can be hard to find one. I have two banks, and both of them only have one branch in Leeds city centre. Lots of businesses, such as bars and coffee shops refuse to take cash!

I actually need checks for my quarterly taxes to the federal government. Two businesses actually charge me more than the price of a stamp to make an online payment!!
