Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I thought you sci-fi fans might like a look at this very unusual Lambsfoot

I don't have one, so had to get pics from the net.

Oh My Goodness!!! That is AMAZING!!! I want one so badly now...

Found one... Bought it

It's all going on here Kevin! :D Hope you're having a great weekend

It sure is Vince :)

A lot of prior discussion about those knives here Randy, both recent and in the past (see the thread index) Pen blade on mine was a real nail-breaker. Hope you get a nice one

The fellowship is spreading! :)

Morning Guardians, hope everyone is having a lovely weekend, and that y'all enjoy your Sunday :) I'm carrying the Yorkshire Rose ;)

I may have said that "the Yellow Rose of Texas is the only one for me", but I sure do cotton to that White Rose of Yorkshire!

No, no car for me, I haven't had one in decades. I rarely used to use it when walking for most of the same reasons, and the fact it pretty much restricts you to circular walks. Bus and train travel used to be a lot better back in the 80's though.
Boy, I wish I could get rid of my car! I have to drive 40 miles to work every day, though, mostly on a single lane road (one lane in each direction) past farms and fields. No buses, no trains. Gotta have a car or truck in Texas!

Yeah, there are parts of the UK where it'd be real hard to manage without a car, but I've always lived in a city, and while public transport is nowhere near as good as it once was, getting about is not really a problem. When I lived in Sheffield, I used to walk everywhere, but until 1987 it had the cheapest fares in Europe, and you could travel anywhere in the county, all day, by train or bus for just 25p (2p for kids). 25p is not much more than 25 cents

Thanks, Dennis! It was one of the last three (#26 of 28) of the Ashley's Choice lambsfoots. I am very pleased with it.

That's right, it was wasn't it Vince, I'd forgotten. I'm so glad you got one? :)

Great pic, Jack. Is that Fangorn Forest is the background?

Thanks my friend :) I had to look up Fanghorn Forest! :D

Hopefully you're watching the remake, it's fantastic. I still consider it to be the BEST TV series of all time. Give it several episodes to let the plot develop and hopefully you'll be hooked. Have fun.
I believe it was the original series. Lorne Greene (Ben Cartwright of "Bonanza") was in it. And Jane Seymour (NOT Henry III's wife!). We only lasted 40 minutes! Hope the remake is better! I'll look for it, but if I were voting today for best TV series of all time, I would probably vote for "High Chaparral", with "My Three Sons" and "The Beverly Hillbillies" close behind. "Star Trek" would make the top ten. ;)

I remember a school assembly when I was about 8. The headmaster began, "Who saw High Chaparral last night, put your hand up!" Then completely changed tone, and said, "Well you should have been in bed by 9 o'clock!!" :D The Beverley Hillbillies is one of my all-time favourites :) I did like Star Trek too

That knife is out-of-this-world cool!

Isn't it?!

I hope you enjoy it. It does a great job of mixing Sci Fi with ancient religions, politics, cultures, races, etc. The further you go, the more interesting it gets.
