Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a great weekend :) I still feel like I've spent the night in a tumble-dryer, but while I have some work to do today, and an online meeting this evening, I don't have to go to Bradford tomorrow, which is a relief. I think I'm going to be doing housework today, with some lollygaggin' on the side hopefully ;) Wolfie's eldest lad's 16th birthday yesterday, hard to believe...With his first knife a few years back :D

I think I'm gong to pocket the Guardians 2024 today :) Have a great day Guardians

I expect there were some lapses, but any investigation is young. I also suspect we've been trying to incarcerate too many too cheaply for too long.

That escape was in a state far from mine! I guess I'll stand down a bit. Except that's when they get you.

There's something much less serious going on at our county jail, and I got the coverage mixed.[blushing face]
It did occur to me to wonder why there would be ten murderers in the county jail.

Such a rare and cool piece of cutlery Steve.

Thanks pal 👍

Evening gents.

You have the best props ! 👍

Great pic Steve, so typical of Butler that they'd make some different like that

Thank buddy !

Cool pic Jack, I hope you can get some lollygagging in today 👍

I've always heard that if you sober up a drunken horse thief, you're left with a sober horse thief - which might be worse! Now he's thinking clearly!!!

I think incarceration might work in a similar fashion. With what we're (rapidly) learning about brain chemistry, etc - it might be possible to do more to convince these folks that there are better ways to live. I'm starting to believe that a merely punitive approach doesn't cut the mustard. Not for the offender, or their community. Seems it's a lose/lose proposition in many cases.

It is a piece of amber my wife picked up in Denmark. She bought it at a jewellery store as she wanted a nice piece of raw amber. I think it has been beach polished?
Nice "red" Amber, Dan!! A rarer form than the usual "Butterscotch"!! Here is some, rough, and finished Amber from Poland, flanked by some nice Stag, (per glennbad glennbad ) on a fairly recent Joseph Rodgers Lamb !!!!Amber examples 3.jpg

(edited per Lambfoot rules and regulations!! May 19th)

( I hope this pic passes Jack's standards!!)

I really like that Joseph Rodgers lamb foot. Nice amber as well. My wife is crazy about amber and jewellery in general. We spent a lot of time in amber shops when we were in Denmark. Picture below is a chunk of amethyst she picked up while working on archaeology survey in Thunder Bay, and of course my first Waynorth lamb foot knife.RIMG3450.JPG

Nice Lamb!! Nice to see patina!!
My mom and I both had rocks in our heads!! 😁 Her favourite was Amethyst, coincidentally!!! Too bad we don't live as long as the rocks we love!!;)
