Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

It was wet and dull on the market, and I had to wait until nearly 10 to get a coffee. The days when Greedy Graham was serving bacon sandwiches at 5am are long gone unfortunately. Even Tool Man has had to temper his scoffing. It was quiet on the Tool Stall, with Gravel being our only visitor, until Ex Para Steve wandered over from Nobber Al's record stall to show us this table kenife display he had found. Unfortunately, he is going to have to open it up to replace the fallen piece.

Golden Gordon wondered by with a huge, heavy satchel, which turned out to be full of coins he had brought down for a collector who hadn't turned up. When I felt the weight of it, I was amazed he could lift it!

I decided to get a chip butty before crossing town for my medical appointment, and took a photo for Scout 😉

I haven't been to Armley, the area where the medical centre is, for a dozen years. Tool Man used to live here then, and believe it or not, it's actually got rougher since he left! Not that it's ever been salubrious - there's a large old prison on the hill, and I'm currently seeking sanctuary in the old public library at the top of Stocks Hill! I dare say there's a Gibbet Lane somewhere about 🙄

It's not the sort of place you start waving a camera about, but I quickly snapped this stone, set in the pavement, with my phone. I thought it might be of interest to the Wild Colonial Guardians 😉

Wow history's footsteps. I'm amazed it hasn't been vandalised like Captain Cook statues.
Medical centre?
Advanced technology medical centre!

What a cool display piece 😍

Thanks for the market report Jack 👍
Yeah, shame it wasn't a pocket knife! 😀 When.I was a kid, you'd see loads of displays like that. Think my school had one 👍

Thanks buddy 👍
Nice jigging 😎👍
Is a chip butty a basket of potato fries?
Honestly Scubaroo Scubaroo , where have you been?! 🤔🤣 Only a couple of months until Yorkshire Day! 😋😉👍
Afternoon Guardians! Thanks for the market report Jack. To bad things are going down hill at the market. GL-24 riding shotgun today.

To be honest David, things have been going downhill at the market all the time I've been going there 🙁 Nice pic of your GL-24 buddy 🙂👍
Some nice stag there 😎👍

Man, I'd buy one of those if I could be assured of getting that stag 🤩
You hit the stag lottery there my friend 👍👍👍

Thanks, Mike.

It was listed individually. I'm not that lucky.

Probably why I'm not much of a gambler, either. My favorite kind of game is a fixed one. 😂

Well, I guess I was lucky enough to find it listed individually... maybe time to recalculate my OLQ (Overall Luck Quotient). 🤔

Some nice stag there

Thanks, Jack!

I'm quite partial to her. 😍

Greetings Guardians! It’s been two weeks since my reverse ostomy surgery and my plumbing is working again normally. To celebrate I got out two of my favorites. Have a great week everyone!

Great news Dan, 😀 I was so so fortunate to have such a great Surgeon, it was close that I was going to need to have a Colostomy bag for the rest of my life, if not a bag for a year with the removal of a good part of my works, he did tell me that there was a small small percentage if things went the way he hoped if all the Planets aligned that I may not need a bag.
I went to a specialist the day before so they could see how I wore my belt, and where was going to be the best spot to have things placed, they then marked the left and right side for options for the surgeon - but a clear plastic tape over me and off I went.

Well after 7 hours of surgery later - I woke up without a bag, I just could not believe it!!!! The joy was huge- so I really can relate to how amazing you must be feeling, and I am so so pleased for you Dan.
It took honestly a couple of years for things to become comfortable - but Oh Man..... sometimes we are the luckiest people on Earth aren't we - you must be feeling like this, so what a great post to read rom you, and if I know the Guardians at all - they too will be feeling the joy for you!
