If I've already used this picture, I'm using it again because it's so striking.

I think I saw a different coyote in my jungle border a little before 6:00 p.m. yesterday. I think it was smaller than the one I've been seeing. I'm not positive about its proportions, but it had a pointy face and a bushy tail, and I can't believe foxes and coyotes are living so close together.
Too bad I'm not a preacher, though; there'd be a sermon in that.

I've got pokeweed poking out of my roses and peonies, so I ordered another thing of Roundup precise Gel. The river will no longer ship it to my address.
Is the precise gel more dangerous than the liquid spray? Maybe we're afraid that children will mistake it for underarm deodorant and eat it.
I guess I'll have to decant some liquid and apply it with a brush.

Good Wednesday to you. We’ve had some nice weather here. It’s summer break at school so lots of students enjoying the beaches. My garden is doing ok. It would be much better if I spent less time lollygagging but it is what it is.

Jack we’ll miss you. When you return please post some cane toad pictures. I recently watched a documentary about them. I gotta get a cane toad knife slip. It would go well with this Max Sao:

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is good, and that your week is going smoothly. My week has turned semi-busy! I was just having coffee at Charlie's yesterday, when I got a request to edit a press release someone else had written, and had to do it on my phone, next to a very loud Albanian! My trip to Bradford wentbetter, and it was a nice warm evening to be out and about. I have some more work to do this morning, but I'm hoping to get down to see Tool Man at some point, and also meet up with Wolfie. Carrying my 2018 Guardians Lamb in ebony Have a good day Guardians

I hope everyone is having a good day. I had a rather frustrating morning I'm afraid. My high blood pressure was not helped by having to deal with a doctors receptionist who is as stupid as she is rude and incompetent. The receptionists at my surgery defy the national stereotype by being pretty good, but they must have got this one from somewhere else Then, my phone decided to update itself, and what a mess! I ended up missing a call from Wolfie, and spent several boring hours messing around with the stupid thing, time I will never get back! I still have a load of messing about to do I wasn't able to phone Tool Man at all, and it was nearly lunchtime by the time I got to the market. Both Tool Man and Boring Ray had had a quiet morning. I had about 3 hours with them, but the market was pretty dull, and only Big Dave and Slimline Scott called in, and then only briefly. I think I see a few glasses of wine in my near future

Nah these days all the sprays ate less effective due to being environmentally friendly. I found I've had to spray more often
If you can get it. try some sugar cane mulch. I use it

There are good receptionist?
The gatekeepers I call em, Cerberus has nothing on them.
It's a carry over from covid days given too much autonomous power on deciding whom was allowed entry. Didn't give the power back and can be rather rude and intrusive.
The lack of privacy is annoying medical issues are between the doctor and myself.
When I went a month ago when I was sick, had to do a covid test and bring it along to show the receptionist, hence the gatekeepers.

Good morning Guardians. Had a nice round of golf going yesterday but my foursome ran into a bit of weather when we got to the 17th hole. Had to abandon the round and went home. Glad I didn't have my HHB with me - would have gotten soaked. Had a SAK instead.

Sounds like a bit of a day Jack, I am afraid that if I feel like I have been polite to a person- doesn't matter who or where they are, and they are rude like that, they are going to be told, these type of people deal on the percentage basis that many will accept their behaviour, if they encountered push back every time they wouldn't be doing this,or, they wouldn't be working there because of the feedback - this makes me peeved when I hear this sort of thing - sorry Jack!
