Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Sorry to hear about all the closings lately Jack, that seems to be the trend everywhere anymore. Looks like a fun time at the market especially for Tool Man. 🤣

Steve, your lamb has some beautiful character to it and nicely captured. 👍

I have my favorite Albers with me today. I hope you all have a great rest of the week!

Looks like you're having a great time Dave :)
Happy Friday night, Guardians! Or if you're in the wrong time zone, happy whatever time it is for you!

Hope you had a good one Tyson :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing good, and that the weekend is a great one. In the high 80's here today, according to the Met Office, looks like it's going to be a nice day. My original plans for today are awry, but I'm hoping to meet up with Matt at some point. Reckon I might get a second breakfast somewhere first ;) Carrying Wee Staggy :) Have a great day Guardians

Love that Stag Lambsfoot Jack- I still feel frustrated with the loss of the AC - I thought it would have turned up by now..... arrrggghhhh, perhaps it will one day, a very very near- " pull the car apart" look is needed I think.

I was taking a few photos of some arrivals and while I was outside I went through a wonder in the Garden, The Hartshead came out the pocket and posed for a few shots.

I sure hope you find your AC Duncan, great pics of your Hartshead Barlow amigo 🙂👍

I was up ridiculously early, and as the weather is so nice here right now, I decided to have a second breakfast in the pub up the road. It's a pretty basic breakfast, but at least as good as the one in Charlie's cafe, and while the coffee really doesn't compare, the breakfast is £2.99 here, as opposed to £12.99 in Charlie's. I'm sat outside in the sun now, reading my book, but I might go down to Charlie's for coffee later 😉

Reading in the Sun.........

Sounds so relaxing Jack!

I'd be eating there all the time! Looks good, too.

Yeah, they're cheap ingredients, but no more than at Charlie's. I had chilli there last night, with a trio of margaritas ;) Don't think I spent £20 👍

Thanks mate, I haven't had much of a chance to read at all lately 👍

After leaving the pub, I hopped on a bus down to Charlie's. Bizarrely, there was a large man, no younger than me, wearing a top hat, and jaywalking in the middle of the main road. He had a hoola hoop in one hand, and what looked like the rim of a bicycle wheel, in the other, and was repeatedly tossing them high into the trees on the pavement, while the traffic weaved about him! 🤯 I had just sat down with a coffee outside Charlie's, when Matt, and his little girl Rheia, joined me. Rheia quickly polished off a piece of cake nearly as big as her, and they went off to the park. I read a bit more of my book, and then walked back home. The man in the top-hat wasn't there, so either his hoops eventually lodged in the trees, he got bored, or one of the cars eventually failed to navigate around him 🫣 Hope everyone is having a good day 👍

Great looking Lambsfoot - Wow!
Thank you Duncan, I hope you’re having a good weekend.

Regarding your lost knife, I lost one a year ago then found it recently in a cabinet I installed at my office. I had to take the drawer out because something fell in behind it and there was my little Swiss Army knife. I had no idea where that went but as soon as I saw it I remembered perfectly using it there. It was a wonderful feeling and I sure hope your lost knife eventually turns up. 🤞

Happy weekend Guardians

My RoseCraft Elk River Easy Open Jack (no points for name brevity) arrived yesterday. Its a nice, well put together knife. I'm fairly well pleased

The handles are some nice rosewood.

Every designer at RoseCraft has their own "Maker's Mark." Andy Armstrong's is some crossed bones in the shape of an "A" with a skull on top, hence the skull shield.

Knowing the reasoning, I have decided to embrace the skull 😃

I shot pool and played poker yesterday, so I'm resting up today

Thanks pal !
