Wife and I took a trip to Corpus Christi this weekend. Weather was blustery and hot but we had a great time. View attachment 2925257View attachment 2925258
Buck Moon over Padre island beach.
Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend, I'm enjoying the photos@DaveHS 's boat pics reminded me I received some over the weekend, from an old girlfriend. On Friday, she got a last minute chance to sail from Belfast to the Scottish Highlands on a lightly crewed boat. Two thirds of the way across, the engine packed in, and they had to make the rest of the journey, including docking, by sail alone. Sounded an amazing adventure

A first time for seeing an orange watermelon. This one is not as sweet as the red variant.

Hi Ian, welcome to BladeForums. I suggested to Duncan that you join. I'm glad you like the Barlow, it'd be nice to see a photo (please see post #1 in relation to this), which will then make you a member of our Guardians fraternity. There's lots of information on the knives here in this thread, which can be found using the Search function, as well as with the Thread Index, (which only covers the early part of this thread I'm afraid). I ordered 80 knives in vintage Sambar stag, and 20 in Rosewood. I think I ended up with 77 in stag, and 20 in Rosewood, with an additional Rosewood model being made subsequently.Hi Jack, Ian from New Zealand here. Duncan said you had suggested I contact you here. I have recently acquired one of your Hartshead barlows in stag, although not nearly as nice as the stag on yours! However, it is a really well-made knife with nice action and perfect centering, I'm very pleased with it. Could you please tell me how many of these knives you had made (I think it was in 2019) in stag and in rosewood I believe. Cheers.
Oh no! That's rotten new Mitch
Looks good Bob, as does your Cosimo Lamb of courseA first time for seeing an orange watermelon. This one is not as sweet as the red variant.

I once had to take a solid 5 weeks off because of accumulated over-time. When I went back, everyone thought I had left!![]()

New one on me! I never heard of orange watermelons! At first glance I thought it was a cantaloupe. Thanks for sending me down another internet rabbit holeA first time for seeing an orange watermelon. This one is not as sweet as the red variant.

We just found out the direct way about yellow watermelons by accidentally buying one a few days ago, and finding out when we cut it open. Looks weird, but tasted like watermelon to me.
Wally is looking dapper Steve.Good morning Guardians !

Not surprised I would say most of the current products are out sourced it was sold years agoI ordered a second Tilly hat last weekend - a Wanderer. Made sure I verified it was made in Canada first. Hat turned up today in a plastic bag, and it's made in China, so it's going back. I reckon it's the third Tilly hat I've had to return, for the same issue, in the past 2 or 3 years
