I hope everyone is having a great day I'm very unhappy about having wasted a day waiting in for a package which was supposed to arrive by 1pm, and never came at all 
Matt is off work this week, and I suggested taking the kids to a local castle. Since I had the phone coming, I asked if we could go tomorrow, rather than today. It's been lovely weather today, but tomorrow it's due to rain all day, and no doubt my package will turn up while I'm out, which means I'll then have to waste more time getting it from the post office

I don't know if it's an option in your area, but making the jump to fiber was one of the best choices for our house. About the same price and rock solid performance.Good morning Guardians, my internet is running like a dripping tap again. Going to re-boot my system, see if it helps. For now, I'm just on my phone. Here's some history of Spofforth Castle, (actually a fortified manor house), which is one of many castles within a half hour's drive of where I live. Spofforth is less well-known, perhaps because it can't be seen from the road, but it's a great place to visit with kids, and it's free, and open all year round. We had an hour here, before heading for lunch at one of our favourite country pubs. A few pics:
