Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I've been carrying this C. Johnson for about a week now! I love the pocket-polish it has picked up over the years, and I marvel at the perfectly flush joint!! The steel is holding a nice edge also!! I imagine I am back 100 years* in time!! I think I'll go out and hail a Hansom cab and head for the market!!:D

*(with apologies to the continuity editors!!) :p
That’s a beauty Charlie! It speaks of craftsmanship and was made by people that truly took pride in their work! There’s just something about dropping an oldie like that in the pocket! I really don’t know the correct word to use but I’m going to say nostalgic! ;) :D

Dave you are welcome my friend  that Red Ryder is as dull as a butter knife, I never got around to putting an edge on it. Enjoy them in good health
Rob my enjoyment includes words like delighted, grateful, thrilled and thankful. I will enjoy adding these to my daily rotation. The Lambsfoot horn with the jet black mark side and beautiful streaking on the pile side is an especially appealing representation of this model that I will carry with pride.
The Barlows are already displayed and set as my desktop users. The Case Barlow with a modified clip point blade into a very short Lambsfoot is pretty cool.
The Red Ryder Barlow is my first themed knife, it's a great addition to brighten the collection up. :p
Thank you for your kindness :D

I carry a lambsfoot

Because sausage and salmon patties need cutting at work lunch!!!

Thanks you very much Rachel! I look forward to finally posting one and being part of the rafter (or flock...gobble-gobble) :D

Dennis, I believe Rachel's reference is to an old black-and-white horror movie called "Freaks", which is alluded to in the Ramones' "Pinhead". Someone posted some video clips recently.

I'm really not a horror movie fan, but Tod Browning's "Freaks" (1932) is an amazing film in many ways. The "one of us" scene is when all the freaks welcome the beautiful (but evil) trapeze artist to the sideshow family. ;)

Me neither, but the scene has been widely referenced elsewhere, perhaps most recently in The Wolf of Wall Street.
