Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

After waiting for what seemed like ten weeks, instead of ten days, my first Lambsfoot arrived in today's mail! I have this first impression to give and it is that this really feels good in hand, Rosewood is nicely polished and the metal is shiny...a good looking knife. The blade is not well centered but it's a working knife so not a big deal.

I have been in touch with Jack and am on the list for the 2019 Guardian knife, but, this makes it my official application for membership in the Guardians of the Lambsfoot. You are a great group! Preston

Good one! you are now an official Guardian :D My first was a rosewood as well, I don't know what it is but I really like the rosewoods, they seem more utilitarian. ;)

I feel like GT, quoting all these messages :D

Very nice first Lambsfoot, and welcome aboard.

Cool!:thumbsup: That was my Senior year, I remember that.
Thanks, Jack is an enabler and had me hunting this one down.

I agree, the Rosewood Lambsfoot just screams, "Use me!!!"

John you're the cool kid on the block :cool: when you have a chance tells us all about it.
Me? Cool kid? That'll be the day. Lol
I'll be sure to review the knife further in the coming days. Not sure I'll use it much, but it sure is a neat keepsake.

Super cool knife John.
Thanks Dwight. You can blame Jack for showing me a picture of it. I just had to have one after that.

......................
You can say that again :D

I'm thinking that Jack can get the lion's share of the blame(credit) for most of what has gone on in this thread. Is not being an enabler an important part of a Guardian's duty?;) Preston
True... Very true.

Every time I see one of those (rarely), I hear rocket engines!!
Cool!! errr. . . . .Hot!!
:D
Thanks Charlie. The first thing my son did when I showed it to him was fly it around the room and make rocket engine sounds... and he's 18 years old. Brings out the kid in all of us I guess

Great first lamb foot. Welcome.
JohnDF JohnDF Love it.

Well that's a stunning picture, that horn is mesmerizing - almost like a storm at sea during sun set. Love it!! It could almost be a painting by William Turner (well for an English knife it's not illogical :p)

Thanks for the review Dylan, your opinions carry a lot of weight with me  That is another beautiful photo my friend :)

Thanks Dylan! I appreciate the compliments my friend but your photographic skills speak for themselves! :)

Thank you, fellas, for the kind compliments.

I decided to get this ole gentleman out today! :)

I love seeing that old beauty, Ron, I wish we could see more jigging like that, especially on Lambsfoot knives.

This black beauty has been close at hand today. Displayed with a bit of Redbreast and my favorite pipe.

Very special lamb Ron.

I'm off out in a couple of hours, getting something to eat in town, and then going to the Willie Watson gig, so I think I'm going to change over to my AC
Beautiful photo Jack.

Another silent serenade of serenity and tranquility.

Shaving sharp again after honing on the hard Arkansas and stropping on my hand. On the right is a 1000 grit water stone.
The two are comparable, grit wise, but the A. Wright steel/heat treat responds MUCH better to the Arkansas stone. I don't know why, o_O but I don't even bother using the other on this knife anymore.

Michael

pjsjr pjsjr , welcome! Nice little work knife you got there. :) I love the rosewood!
