dont often see them without that sway, candlestick was the term i believe. this lamb has certainly stopped screaming for now as i was watching this one for months.

Lovely burl !

I too am a fan of various woods. I wish I could claim to be a wizard of woods, but alas.....here is it's brother.๐Ÿ˜ƒ I may have sent Willem the wood, too.

Also beautiful !

Thanks Steve, I'm disappointed with the Mexican place, but the things that are happening with the market are terrible for the city ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘

Stunning Steve, you take a great pic my friend ๐Ÿ‘

Thank you kindly !

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has made it through another weather in one piece ;) The weather has changed here, and it is cooler, and wet, which I think is also the forecast over the weekend :( While I hope we get some more nice days, I have to say that I'm very satisfied with the summer we've had here :) I need to go into town to get some shopping, but I'll inevitably be calling in at Charlie's on the way ;) Carrying my Hartshead Barlow :) Have a great day Guardians

Nice pic of your stag HHB !

Good morning Guardians. Getting ready for a trip across the pond - cruising to Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. Since I do not trust the baggage handlers I will not be packing any of my Lambsfoot knives. Today, however, I will have my HHB with me (I saw Jack's post and it inspired me to carry my HHB :).

They used to call them 'broadsheets' here Jer, as opposed to the less serious 'tabloids'. Now they are all tabloid size  Not even worth asking the butler to iron them! :D
Wow! Hopefully, you have it under control Jer.
I recently looked into purchasing a weekly subscription to the NY Times. I could get it, but it would always be 2 days late!!
That's poor isn't it? I have found the same with various subscriptions, they could be as much as a week late :(
The meter is actually a sort of good news. My A1C has been at the high end of normal, with the drugs I'm on, despite all the sugar I eat. If I grow up about the sugar-eating, I might find myself with hypoglycemia. So the meter is to check when I get low-sugar symptoms. It's a lot to expect me to carry around all the time, though. We'll see how it goes.
The doc is referring me to a nutritionist; I do mean to eat wholesomely.
Also to a dermatologist, for something that is almost certainly nothing.

With all my -ists, I remind myself of Carly Simon[sigh]'s Floundering.
LOL! :D

I put a jacket on to go out, as it was dull, overcast, and quite cold. Forty-five minutes later, it was bright and sunny, and it's been very changeable ever since  No rain yet though. I had coffee and a croissant at Charlie's, and made a flying visit to town

Checking it before I head out on my hiking trip. For the past few months Iโ€™ve been training to go hike the highest point in Idaho and the time has come. This Saturday, if all goes to plan, Iโ€™ll be the tallest person in the state (for a very brief moment) ๐Ÿ˜

I will be bringing my GL-24 along for the trip.

Good morning, Guardians! Hello from the deepest of the Deep South, the Mississippi Gulf Coast. We are visiting the mother in law. I brought my waynorth waynorth lamb along to help make sausage gravy, giving a new meaning to oiling the joints!

Thanks pal, I was about 25 then! :D Scafell Pike gets the attention, but I always tell people they'd be better climbing one the more interesting and quieter slightly lower peaks nearby :) I used to love to climb the hills and mountains of England, Wales, and Scotland, but they're a bit of a struggle for me now! ๐Ÿ˜ช

Jack, don't look!!

To celebrate a new granddaughter, another contest is coming.
I will give details tomorrow, but here is the prize. You should know it involves counting.
Not new, but close enough. A Cosimo through and through.
