Same lambsfoot all week for me in terms of pocket-carry, although I have a couple of lambsfoot knives in the kitchen that may be called on for food prep during the week. As I've mentioned, my lambsfoot this week is Union Jack, and here's one of my favorite photos of it from the early days in Spring 2017:

That looks like lovely weather BarrettGot in another four mile walk on the trail today. It was warm and sunny out. I think todayโs high was 88ยฐ, and while it hadnโt quite made there while I was walking, it was definitely warm enough.

The miles I covered today (10 through 12) are mostly uneventful. The trail passes by Gale Woods Farm, an educational farm operated by the parks department. (I ended up parking there for this section of trail, as there really isnโt anything else along this stretch.)

I was thankful there was a good amount of shade for most of my walk today.

Right as I got to my turnaround point, I noticed some tree limbs blocking most of the trail just past the mile 12 marker. From the direction I first saw them they didnโt seem too big, and I thought I might be able move them off the trail, but when I got to them I realized they were all still attached to a tree that had fallen over and I couldnโt really do anything.

Fortunately, just as I was about to start walking back, a guy (who I assume lives nearby) rode up on an electric scooter with a small chainsaw and a leaf blower to clear off the trail.

Although my walk wasnโt any longer than the others Iโve done so far on the trail, by the time I got back to my truck today, I was glad to be done. Unfortunately, I completely forgot to snap any knife pics, so an old pic of todayโs Lambsfoot โ this Rodgers, which was a gift fromSteveC โ will have to suffice.

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well. The weather looks miserable outside. It's Bod's last day here, so since he won't eat lunch, I'll have a couple of pints with him in town, before he heads off to visit his hippy mate Jimble. Have a good day Guardians. Carrying Schultz today

Splendid!

Sounds a good day JackI hope everyone is having a good dayI had a coffee in Charlie's, and a Thai lunch, before meeting Bod. We had a coffee, and he picked up a few more bits of shopping - Wensleydale cheese for himself, meat pies for young Jack, more meat products for Her Indoors. Then we had a few pints in a pub neither of us have been to before, The Banker's Cat, which was pretty busy for a Wednesday afternoon. Tomorrow, I'll be down at the market, but by then, Bod will be on his way back to Poland. It's been fun spending some time with him
