Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks Jack
Aussie made, Sydney strop Co. They seem to aim at the wood workers and Tool market.
Enjoy your day.
Market day= stretchy pants day for the "snacks "?😇😆
Thanks mate, I had a jam doughnut with my coffee, but that was it today :D I have a number of small strops, but this double-sided pocket strop is my favourite :)

Good morning, Guardians. Feral cat Gray Kitty deigned to come inside and hang out with us and the dogs last night. She parked herself with zero irony on one of my favorite chairs that now bears a crazy cat lady pillow. I thought Charlie’s Lamb would complete the tableau nicely. View attachment 2979183
Very hospitable Dave :)

I finally moved the larger holly bush to the back of the back yard. I hope it takes.
There's one more seedling worth moving, but it's small enough to move with my hori hori.
Good luck with the holly bush Jer
Nice pic Jack ! I hope the weather holds out for market day 👍
Thanks buddy :)
Good morning Guardians !

Sweet pic of that super IXL

I hope everyone is having a good day. The weather has been ok today, with only a little rain so far, but it was decidedly quiet at the market. The Teds are off to some old Rockers event at the weekend, and Gravel has gone early. Golden Gordon was missing, and there was no sign of Harry Hotballs. I did briefly see Captain Birdseye, but he was not looking too well. Nobber Al called over briefly, but apart from that, our only visitor was Slimline Scott, who called in briefly during his lunch-hour. We did have a professional visitor though, in the form of a reporter, who was collecting comments for a story about the City Council's latest plans to screw over the market traders 🙄 Tool Man didn't take much brass in the 3 or 4 hours I was there, but his state pension kicks in this month, so he didn't seem too perturbed. Boring Ray was so quiet, he asked if I wanted to use anything on his stall as a backdrop for a knife photo or two. I was quite interested in a 'one-arm bandit' he had, though rather shocked by the £450 price tag. Tool Man remarked, "That's why it's still there!" 😆

Thanks for the Market Report Jack. Too bad some of the usual suspects were occupied elsewhere. Glad the Teddy Oldmen have another event to have a rocking time at. I guess Tool Man must have been feeling some hunger pains without snacks about. Nice picture prop from Boring Ray. I wonder how much he paid for the one armed bandit. I suspect the bandit has two arms and is boring.

LOL! :D You are undoubtedly correct Kurt, the prices on Ray's stalls are ridiculous - He's on Leeds Market! 😵‍💫 I think he paid £200 for the bandit, which means it'll probably sit on his stall for 6 months, before he sells it for £250, if he's lucky! :D While I only had 1 doughnut, Tool Man had 2, plus a whole cake, a custard slice, 2 steak slices, and whatever sandwiches he brought with him, but I'm sure he was feeling hunger pangs anyway! 😂 That's a very nice photo :)

Sure does, welcome 👍

Nice picture !

That looks like a handy sized strop 👍

Nice pic Jack ! I hope the weather holds out for market day 👍
Works alright Steve. The wife even gave me a nod after I touched up flash. Kristy likes a sharp knife but reckons it's my job to make her kitchen knives that way.

Afternoon Guardians. Had to run errands today. Thank for the market report buddy. Happy trails 🤠

Hope you got everything done David, I'm sorry there wasn't more to report
That looks handy, 😎
While it's sitting on Ray's stall, someone without £450 in their pocket, may occasionally drop a penny in the slot! :D Though the fact the machine doesn't pay out only emphasises the fact it's overpriced

I have a busy day tomorrow Guardians: Two medical appointment several miles apart, and then Wolfie is boxing in the evening. Hoping I can get round everything ;) I'll be carrying the splendid Joseph Rodgers Shadow

Jimmy sharman's boxers was a troupe that travelled the small towns of Australia.
From 1912 & his son kept it going till 1971.
