Great pic, Tyson! :thumbsup:

Eggs Benedict and a flat white? :D :thumbsup:

Are flat whites common in the UK, Jack? Some places here will have them, but I think Duncan had to educate just about every waitress we had in Oregon. 🤣 It wasn’t until we were at the Portland airport leaving Oregon that he found a place that could make one.

Good morning, Guardians! Jack, that looks delicious. I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday.

Interesting choice of utensil for bacon flipping, Dave. 😁

Doh! I accidentally hit post on my last my last post before I was done catching up. I’ve had a lot of trouble using the text field on BF on my phone recently (no doubt a result of the recent iOS update, which has been generally terrible and full of bugs). 🙄

I can see it Gary, but only because I am using a VPN (which currently places me in Holland). If I turn it off, I can't see your pic, or any of Jer's :(

Sorry you have to jump through hoops just to use the forum like normal, Jack, although I think using a VPN in general is probably a good thing that everyone should be doing.

Jack I just downloaded that book on Teddy Boys. I read a few pages and I know it’ll be a good read. I don’t think it’ll help in my study of Tool Man behavior. He looks to always be an amusing enigma.

I grabbed my Barrett this morning to tote on my walk. I arrived before sunrise.

Great pics! :thumbsup::thumbsup:

Having finished my deck washing and sealing project last week, I got back on the Dakota Rail Trail today for another 4 mile walk. It was sunny but cool today, in the low 60s (the warm temps we’ve had the last few weeks finally dropped off over the weekend).

As I’ve mentioned before, the further west you go on this trail, the more rural it gets. The 2-mile stretch I covered today didn’t go through any towns, and all I passed were farms and fields. This made parking interesting; I ended up just parking on the side of the county road that runs alongside this part of the trail.

I’ve also noticed, unsurprisingly, that the further out on the trail I get, the less people I encounter. Today I parked near the Mile 24 marker and walked back to the Mile 22 marker without encountering a single person. Then, as I turned around at Mile 22, I saw what would end up being the only other person I saw on the trail today: a cyclist on a recumbent bike who bore an uncanny resemblance to waynorth waynorth ! 😁

I had my Stag HHB with me today. I saw probably 50 of these wooly bear caterpillars on the trail today, to the point that I was actively looking out for them so I didn’t step on any. I have to say, if you’re supposed to be able to predict the severity of the coming winter based on their colors, they’re can’t seem to come to an agreement. I saw ones ranging from all brown to almost all black. 🤨
