Very colourful Dave As a boy, and even into adulthood, I would regularly go to the library. In my teenage years, I read a lot of books about beer, malt whisky, wine and viniculture, and cocktails. In retrospect i wonder that my father didn't raise an eyebrow, but he was always very self-absorbed

Mine too Dave! I didn't realise it bombed! When I was in my late twenties, after the pub, a few of us would regularly go to a mate's house to watch a movie. He only had ONE VHS tape though, we must have watched The Blue Brothers 50 times!

Last weekend at Costco, I had the leki with me, trolley was getting full. So I took it out to close it up to hang on the back.
This lady is watching me and says" I thought you had a gun."
I smiled at her while I'm thinking in my head shit Lady don't say that too loud.

Work has been steady over the past couple of weeks, but I know it'll be stepping up a gear soon, so I'll enjoy my easy life while I can I'm off to give some blood shortly, and then I'll probably head into town, via Charlie's, and pick up some shopping for the weekend. Our lovable grand master of lambs has done it again.
I was pleasantly surprised with a delivery from Jack.
The lambsfoot will be a treasured addition to my flock. While the carved ram will be holding my winter jacket, if ever needed down here!

I enjoyed the pictures of Tool Man and Boring Ray. Thanks Jack. Two fine friends and fellows. They look like a breeze from the Perfumed Fatties could do them no harm though.

Now that I am reading the Teddy Boy book it’s interesting to compare their fashion choices. Ray’s fashion choices are generic and maybe came from a charity store. A bit of an everyman there. When he dresses he just grabs whatever clothes are handy. Tool Man is a whole different story. The vest, shirt, belt and pants all are statements of fashion and not just a cry of pastry hunger. He likely lays out clothes every morning to choose from and has been since he was a young hooligan giving a wedgy to Boring Ray. Fascinating.
