Great background for your ebony Steve.
A woman once asked the same thing when she saw my cased pool cueGlad you are still with us Mitch! When I regularly carried a stainless steel thermos flask, I lost count of the times people made similarly stupid remarks!

Yes, you have to be careful what you say these days!It was a bit of shocker.
Sadly discretion is the best option these days, sadly.
Thanks mate, enjoy your coffeeNice,
Have a great day and coffee for me!
I'm glad it made it buddyOur lovable grand master of lambs has done it again.
I was pleasantly surprised with a delivery from Jack.
The lambsfoot will be a treasured addition to my flock. While the carved ram will be holding my winter jacket, if ever needed down here!
Thanks you Jack.View attachment 2996142
Thank you Kurt, but that is actually Harry Hotballs in the photo with Tool Man. But, yes, they would both benefit from a bath!I enjoyed the pictures of Tool Man and Boring Ray. Thanks Jack. Two fine friends and fellows. They look like a breeze from the Perfumed Fatties could do them no harm though.
Now that I am reading the Teddy Boy book it’s interesting to compare their fashion choices. Ray’s fashion choices are generic and maybe came from a charity store. A bit of an everyman there. When he dresses he just grabs whatever clothes are handy. Tool Man is a whole different story. The vest, shirt, belt and pants all are statements of fashion and not just a cry of pastry hunger. He likely lays out clothes every morning to choose from and has been since he was a young hooligan giving a wedgy to Boring Ray. Fascinating.
Here’s a lamb and happy Friday.

I hope everyone is having a nice dayI went to give blood, and then walked down to Charlie's, before realising I had forgotten my wallet!
I decided the trudge back up the hill would be easier after a cup of coffee, so I used the £20 note I stash in my phone case
After picking up my wallet, I went iinto town, got a few things in the market, including some nice-looking olives from a new Greek stall, and had some mafe at the African food stall, washed down with their homemade firey ginger and lime drink, and some lemongrass tea

I had a look round the outside market, then caught a bus to the top end of town, and visited the bank, before going to the supermarket. After purchasing Tool Man's Ted book in the bookshop, I had coffee and cake in their cafe, and then headed back home, where I really should be doing housework, rather than lollygaggin'!![]()

Maybe one dayIt’s a shame Victorinox haven’t offered a Lambsfoot as a main blade option.
Evening Guardians! Nice fall day around here. Hope y'all have had a good day. Stay Frosty

Thanks SteveThanks buddy !
Thanks Jack !
Lollygaggin' for the win !
Have a safe trip !
I've had the same thought, but the spear on the SAKs is awfully nicely shaped. A lamb on a SAK just seems wrong somehowIt’s a shame Victorinox haven’t offered a Lambsfoot as a main blade option.

Hope you're not down to beans on toast Paul!Busy night at work. Government still has not figured out a way to fund the government so it looks like I’m not getting paid next week. Good thing I’ve been a good squirrel and stashed some extra nuts
.
Got this awesome burlap lamb that was gifted to me byJack Black for my shift tonight.

Cool pics Mitch
I am slightly fascinated by American small towns, and the sheer number of themThis morning I completed the penultimate walk on my quest to walk the whole Dakota Rail Trail. I’m up to Mile 26 now, which I think might be the last actual mile marker (it was when I did this six years ago, at least). I’ve got another two and half (approx.) miles of trail left to go, which I should knock out next Monday or Tuesday. (Like Miles 2 and 15, the mile marker sign for Mile 25 was missing.)

Today’s walk took me through the small town of New Germany, MN (population: 448). The trail runs right alongside the main road through town for about half a mile. Seems like a nice little town. The space near the trail is kept up nicely.

I remember liking this old Post Office building the last time I came through here. It just has that quiet, small-town Post Office look to it.

The building just to the right of the post office is a bar, and they’ve got a church a little ways further down, so I guess they’ve got their bases covered. They actually have at least three bars (that I saw), all along the main road within a couple hundred feet of each other.
I had my Rhidian What-A-Lamb with me today, as I realized I hadn’t carried it in a while. Hope y'all have a nice weekend lined up.

Hope you're having a good one mate
