When I was a youngster, they did a kid's show at one of the cinemas every Saturday morning. You could go in for a Shilling, and watch The 3 Stooges, Flash Gordon, starring Buster Crabbe, some cartoons, and an old movie. It was good, but they showed exactly the same programme as when my dad was a kid! :D

There used to be a flash Gordon cartoon series when I was a kid, 1 of my favourites when I was laid up in hospital.
