It always pains me throwing away old calendars anyway, particularly as I barely write on them these day :rolleyes: :thumbsup:

I write in notebook style calendars, but not wall calendars, which means I can re-use them. I've got a 1997 X-Files calendar up on the wall right now. 🤣

The Eye Witness is nice and sharp now, although I decided not to take it as far as the biggest chip in the edge. It'll be my "rough work" Lambsfoot anyway.

Yes it is. It came with the knife. I guess the seller makes them. Certainly not my favorite slip but it works ok.

I was just thinking 'Hmmm...those are the first fireworks I've heard so far this Autumn." Then I checked my calendar, it's Diwali, the Sikh festival of light. Leeds biggest Sikh temple is 200 yards away, with half a dozen more within a mile! 🎆 When I moved to this street, 25 years ago, I was enraptured, from my bedroom window I could see the most incredible fireworks display I'd ever seen 😱 These days, it's a question of can I really be bothered to look out of the window? 🙄 Anyway, Happy Diwali Guardians! 😃👍

When I was a youngster, they did a kid's show at one of the cinemas every Saturday morning. You could go in for a Shilling, and watch The 3 Stooges, Flash Gordon, starring Buster Crabbe, some cartoons, and an old movie. It was good, but they showed exactly the same programme as when my dad was a kid! :D

 
Good morning Guardians, I hope your week got off to a good start. My internet signal is terrible this morning! What's new?! 😖 I have plenty to do today, so I better get to it! ;) I'd forgotten, but I'm going over to Huddersfield with Matt later, for some sort of event, not sure if it's comedy or what 🤷‍♂️ I'm meeting Matt for beer and pizza before we get the train over. Plenty to do before then though :) Slipping Waboom! in my pocket, but I might switch to something smaller for the trip over to Huddersfield :) Have a great day Guardians :thumbsup:
