Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

That's above and beyond for shabby treatment.
Yes, it certainly demonstates a high level of scumbaggery! 🤔
Which for some reason reminds me of the movie, Robin and Marian: "'The people would follow you, Robin. The things you did...' "We never did them!'"
I've never actually seen that one Jer, but Robin Hood was reputedly buried at Kirklees Priory, not far from here (when I'm not in Japan - the VPN probably has me somewhere else now). Legend has it that when the fabled outlaw was nearing the end, he called to his trusty lieutenant Little John, and asked him to bring him his mighty bow, and help him nock an arrow. Then he made him promise that wherever the arrow should fall, his body would be buried. And so, he was buried on top of the wardrobe! 😉
Can you eat natto? They used to ask all the time.
Maybe half a bite if it's fried.

I got my eavestroughes cleared yesterday. They were dryer than usual, and I've never done that job on such a warm day.
I'm not sure I've even heard of natto Jer, I'll have to look it up. By chance, I did have a cup of miso soup earlier, with tofu and seaweed, picked up from the Japanese supermarket.

Edit - The description doesn't sound very appealing - which is true of a lot of Japanese foods - but the health benefits do! :D

Nice choice for today Jer 😎👍

Is 'eavestroughs' a word that is commonly used in the USA, or just parts of it? It sounds very Olde English 🙂

Good morning Guardians, I'm coming to you live from Japan today! I hope everyone is well, and that you're all having a great weekend :) The weather here, doesn't look much better today, and with Charlie's cafe closed for refurbishment, I don't think I'll be venturing out until later. I'm taking Matt out for a birthday curry, and a few pints ;) In the meantime, I have some housework to do 😭 Have a great day Guardians, enjoy your Sunday :)

Carrying L'Ariete :)

Hopefully the weather will clear up for you later.

More common to hear them called "gutters"

So far, apart from a small amount of housework, reading, and having something to eat, my day has been uneventful. It's set to get exciting later though, as I'm going to call round at Matt's with a couple of birthday gifts for him, then we're going to the pub for a couple of pints, before curry at my favourite Leeds curry house. No doubt, there'll then be a return to the pub :) A pure slice of fried gold!

Thanks Steve, it's actually stopped raining :) A neighbour told me there's a forecast of snow this week, but I guess we'll just have to see...

That's what I thought, and the only word I've ever heard used here

Hope you're having a good day

You have to have registered your Tilley hat to be able to get it replaced, by the way. I think that's a new rule, because I remember wondering if they'd just give a hat to anybody who said he'd lost one. Mine was new eighteen or twenty years ago.

I think it's fair to say that company is not what it was  A company here used a quote from one of my articles for a decade, saying their "no-nonsense" guarantee appeared to demonstrate a high level of confidence in their products. When I returned a jacket with a broken popper, they charged me £20 😠 Sadly, guarantees aren't always what they seem these days
Many years ago I had a recliner made by a US company called Lane. It had a lifetime warranty. It was an excellent chair and after many years of use the fabric showed little wear and still looked good. Then the frame broke so I called Lane to find out how to get it replaced under the lifetime warranty. IIRC, Lane was located in one of the Carolinas. I talked to a very nice lady with a delightful southern accent who proceed to explain that since the frame broke, the chair was the end of its life and therefore the lifetime warranty had expired 🤪
