Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you. This is done all the time, his first one went fine, and our cousin is still fine years after hers, so 🤞👍 [can't find the "praying hands", almost clicked on "nose"]
For a small additional consideration, they can give you a lens that's good for short and long range. You had to choose one or the other until recently.
Since Dad isn't here I'll say it: Better than the old days, when you had to lie still for three weeks with sandbags around your head.
It's surprising how routine cataract surgery has become, and what a difference it has made to those in need of it
You too buddy !

Great picture 👍
Thanks mate, very kind of you :)

After 18 hours of airplane travel yesterday (for a 5 hour trip!) thanks to winter storms and airline incompetence, I'm back home and immediately put Roper in pocket to sooth my nerves.
Nothing compared to 18 hours of airport / airplane hell but our 9 hour drive was effed into almost 11 hours due to wreck stoppages and construction slowdowns on the highways. Remind me not to drive on a post-holiday Sunday…
Lambshark

Great to see the Lambshark! My spirit animal 🤪. It’s 37 degrees in Dallas this morning and it’s going to stay below 45. Time to break out the winter duds at last. I need some warm wood in my pocket. Bayou Trapper 🐑 to the rescue.IMG_3730.jpeg

Congratulations Barrett :) That'll be a classy spot to put all those fine Lambs you showed the other day
Congratulations Barrett. I can vouch for these Gerstner Box prizes via Generous Bob! (Decorum prohibits me from showing here that mine is stuffed full of knives and watches, but suffice to say I use it as my daily Treasure Chest)IMG_7319.jpeg

That doesn't sound like fun Dave! 🙄

LOL! Stay warm buddy 👍
Some nice wood on those Northfield models 😎👍
Fine craftsmanship, Jack. Fine looking Albers lamb as well.
Thanks Dave, I pick up whatever knife storage I can get my hands on 👍

Very handsome 😎 I tracked one down over here a few years back, but it turned out to be made in the Far East, and had a very poor finish. It must have been some secondary line or something. I might have another look 👍
Good morning Guardians !

Cool pic Steve 👍

Thanks Jack.
The company does make 2 levels of craftsmanship. They do tend to skimp on the finish on both levels.
The much older cabinets showed more craftsmanship, as with many things now.

The driveway is still clean. I'm hoping the next snow will hold off till I get my brother back from cataract surgery this afternoon.
The last batch of snow was deep and wet, so I had to lift the snowblower, and press and shimmy it, to keep it from crawling over the top.
And I thought I'd better rake the eaves. And it was the first time of the year, so I forgot to do the eaves before running the snowblower.
But the muscles are less sore today than they were yesterday, so Spring is right around the corner.

I won't mind if I have to wait a few days to exult in my strength again.
A snow blower/leaf blower combo tool! I didn't do anything with my leaves this year
The big Thanksgiving snow went north of me. It just started snowing a few minutes ago. Forecasted to get a couple of inches.

Hope for another good result for your brother. Four years ago or so I had an optometrist tell me he could see the start of cataracts. A year ago a different optometrist told me there were no signs of cataracts. Somebody's wrong 🙄

Congratulations to Barrett 👍

Peer pressure ;)

It's quite a few years ago now Bob, but I remember reading up on them. From what I can see, they're no longer available here. There are a range of copies, but the reviews aren't good. Tool Man very occasionally gets hold of an old British-made chest, but they are never in very good condition - probably because of where he's obtained them from! 😖 😂 👍

Go for it Mike! :)

Tastier than I'd expected 😋😁👍

They look pretty good to me (not as good as that Lambsfoot, of course 😉). Don’t know if they’re anything like Jordan almonds, but I’ve always thought those were tasty.

I hope everyone had a festive and enjoyable Thanksgiving Day, which I did until I tried to come back to Florida.

That sounds like quite an ordeal! Glad you made it back.

The leaves that came down in Wednesday's wind will probably stay where they are until next spring. They're currently under 10 inches of snow, and the city will probably only empty years waste carts for another week or two until stopping until April.

Sounds like those leaves are future-Gary’s problem now. 😁

Jokic is an incredible player who has little "athleticism" besides height, but he certainly has basketball skills. One of the ESPN Sportscenter anchors always refers to him as "the Dad Bod God". Speaking of which, your Rhidian What-A-Lamb is quite divine!:thumbsup::cool:

I don’t follow the NBA that closely, but I’ve seen enough to know that’s he’s great (even if he doesn’t look the part).

Well, the accounting firm of Friscia,Friscia&Friscia has tabulated the contents of the tankard. My wife tells me there were 249 M&M's.

SteveC- 585

My unofficial guess was 336.

As can be seen, Barrett was closest, congrats.

Thanks to those who ventured a guess.

Barrett, please pm the address you would like it shipped to, so I can pass it on to Gerstner.

Thanks again, Bob! I figured I didn’t stand a chance when I saw that my guess was sort of surrounded by others! 🤣

Definitely. It may well become the new Casa de Lambsfoot, which would free up their current drawer in the big tool chest/workbench I moved everything into last year (not that I’m lacking for space in that thing, plenty of room to grow.) 😁

Thanks buddy 😄 I don't think I've had Jordan almonds, I might have to wait until Sara and Nabil decide to have a second kid 😁👍

I really should be downsizing instead of buying yet more storage (which I already did online)! 😁 👍

It has really become routine. My wife had both eyes done at the beginning of the year.

We got lucky this year. We left early yesterday and had smooth sailing on 210 from near San Bernardino to the I-5 junction. Going north on I-5 we ran into a few traffic jams but not too bad.
A few years ago I was visiting my mother near St George. I-15 to Vegas was fine, but then it got ugly. At the California border there was 11 miles of stopped traffic, and over the next 110 miles of driving across the desert (with no significant on ramps or off ramps, literally the middle of nowhere) it was an endless series of stops and then getting up to about 45 before stopping again. No accidents, just half of the LA basin going home from Vegas. Once we got on 58 in Barstow it was fine until we got to Kramer Junction. This was before the overpass was built and there was a stop light at the intersection of 58 and 395. There was a line of cars eight miles long at that light and it took us an hour just to get through that one light. Once we got to 99 in Bakersfield (after passing through @Horsewright’s town of Tehachapi) we had a lot of slowdowns until we got home in Visalia. What should have been an eight hour drive took twelve hours. Never again. Now when I visit my mother on a holiday weekend I wait until Monday morning to drive home.
I’m still peeved that CHP didn’t put an officer at Kramer Junction to wave traffic through. There was zero backup and very light traffic on 395, all the traffic was on 58.

But that was short compared to my trips to the Philippines. 18 hours would be very fast. One time it took 36 hours to get from my wife’s home town to our home in Visalia.
