Wow, David, I don't expect another day in the mid-70s until mid- or late-May!Morning Guardians! Another day in the mid seventies. This Lamb came with a atrocious edge. I'm slowly working on it. Happy trails

Cool photo of probably my favorite production model lambsfoot!
Back in the 1950s and '60s, we had a nut cracker almost exactly like the one at the top of your photo, and a set of nut picks like yours, too. Ours were stored with all the Christmas stuff because we never had nuts except at Christmas season.
Outstanding wood on your lambsfoot "senator", Mike!Howdy Guardians
Warm and cloudy here today. I spent the day getting the car ready and packing for a trip to Tennessee. I'm planning on leaving Monday. Might go tomorrow if the weather looks good, but its supposed to rain with a precipitous drop in temperatures.
Planning to watch the Missouri Tigers in the Gator Bowl this evening. Hope everybody is having a pleasant day.

When I was a lad, I don't remember ever having oranges except at Christmas. On the last Sunday before Christmas, we always had a Sunday School program in the evening at church, with each age group usually singing a Christmas carol or two. Afterward, the Sunday School teachers would hand out a big plastic bag to each of their students, with each bag containing 1 or 2 apples and oranges, a bunch of different "exotic" types of nuts, some candy canes, and some chocolate candies with various types of filling (mint filling was my favorite, cherries the worst). That's interesting JerAlong with our Christmas presents, we always got a stocking with an apple, an orange, and a shiny new penny in. Of course, fruit was still considered exotic in Britain then, as it still is in some parts of the country
Unlike Tool Man's house, where it is positively banned!

Steve, that last pic of Cassie in the snow puzzles me. How did she get where she is? I don't see tracks to get her there? Do you sometimes throw things for Cassie, and sometimes actually toss Cassie??She loves the snow, just not getting her picture taken when I should be throwing something for her instead.
If I started checking inside my clothes and found I'd gained 100 pounds, I'd be compelled to go on a crash diet!My trip to town didn't go quite as planned, as I forgot my wallet (again)!I didn't realise until I was a mile down the road at the cafe. It turned out I had over £10 in change in my pocket, and after I'd opened the back of my phone, and various other stash places, I had nearly £100, so I went to town anyway....
Crazy Eights, Dave; love those lambsfoot sowbellies!Pic from last week since I’m out and about today. Happy Two’s Day, Guardians!View attachment 3062815
Stay safe everyone, and I hope you have a magnificent 2026!
