Good morning Guardians. It’s been a while, and wanted to pop in again and say hi

Welcome to the weekend! I still get up just as early as weekdays, but instead of headed to work, I’m out to meet some friends for a couple of rounds if disc golf in the snow.

Thanks Jack. I've been fortunate to have weather that enables me to have morning coffee outside.

It actually got to 29° Celsius!

Seems to be a center for retired military. So we have people from all over the country. Now, if I travel to Southern Georgia, that's another story.

Hope everyone is having a great day I didn't go out until midday, and I sat in the cafe for a good hour, drinking coffee, and having a blueberry muffin. I wasn't sure what I fancied doing, but I ended up catching a bus into town, and was intending to get something to eat in the market. I was glad I did, because just as I was getting into town, Matt rang, and we ended up going for a couple of pints with his missus and kids After that, they went off to get some shopping, and I went for a Bento Box, which was pretty good. I've just watched a movie, with a glass of whiskey, and I think I might go for seconds of both



I've cleaned that nail-nick now! Can't say I'm a fan of those narrow nail nicks

First one that showed up was this amazing Gerstner knife Chest from Rufus1949 What an amazing item. Blown away by the craftsmanship. These will house my lambs. Thank you so much, Bob.

Next was a tidy little package from England filled with treasure. Jack Black sent me a pipe smoker’s delight box. In it is one of my very favorite blends not sold here in the US, a lovely Rodgers pipe tool, a cool old school wick lighter, and a nice pipe tobacco bag. These will be put to use and cherished. HHBs were not in the package . Thank you, Jack.




I’ll be carrying the stag HHB today.

29c? Wow.
We will be only at 24c today. After 40c yesterday.
Did go the shops about 2.30pm. Did see some goose jogging in the heat with no water supply

Trial and error Steve.
Second time planting out the area. I had shady liking plants but last year the neighbour finally cut the trees along the shared fence line. Not so shady in the warmer weather now. I've gone with some hardy natives.
