Good morning Guardians, I had arranged to meet Wolfie and Brother Tony for a pint yesterday, and Matt decided to come along too, but first we had to call in at his father's property, which was nearby. His dad passed away over a year ago, leaving a will, and Matt is the only heir and beneficiary. His finances were in good order, and everything is above board, but they are still sorting the matter out. Matt's dad owned an apartment in a place for seniors, but there are still bills to pay, not least £10,000 a year in service charges, and Matt can't use the place, or take anything in or out, while everything is settled. His parents were long-divorced, and Matt had told his mother she could move into the apartment, to be nearer the grandkids, but she still hasn't been able to do so. So, once a month, he calls in to run the taps for a bit, and make sure everything is OK. It didn't take us long, and we headed to the pub afterwards, and had a couple of pints before Wolfie and Brother Tony arrived. It turned out it was Brother Tony's 49th birthday, which he'd failed to tell us about. Fortunately, I had a gift for him anyway. Some other friends arrived, and it turned into quite a party. After 7 pints, me and Matt got a taxi, and I was looking forward to hitting the sofa. Then, I made one of the stupidest mistakes I've ever made in my life! Checking my phone, I had a request to write a press release, and accepted!

What usually takes me 30-45 minutes took HOURS, and was a nightmare!

What a fool!

I hope everyone else had a good weekend, with no stupid clangers, and that your week gets off to a roaring start. It rained all day yesterday, but looks like that has stopped for now, though it's gloomy and overcast. I don't have to go anywhere until later, so I'm not too bothered

Have a good day Guardians
