Another thing that is interesting is the flush springs and blade tang in the closed position.

I like taking a photo of my Lambsfoot when Sue and I go out for breakfast on Sunday mornings.
Itโs becoming a real comfortable habit, I use the Lambsfoot at work an awful lot because itโs really the perfect blade shape for cutting / shaping masking tape and plastic when masking cars up in Bake ovens, many times Iโm in the booth training both apprentices and tradespersons.
The folks at the shops love it too as they see carrying knives as weird
First shot was last Sunday at breakfast, the second photo was today, love this so much!

Lol, I had to edit this Very quickly as the word โshotโ had an i instead of an o![]()
This really interesting Harness Jack lamb sold on the big auction site last night. I thought it worth posting pictures here as I think it's quite rare.
David pointed it out to me, neither one of us ended up with it, I'm hoping a Guardian did.
Jack, have you ever seen one before ?
Anyway here are the pictures

Repro I'm afraid, but Boring Ray had this old kid's typewriter still in the original box!By coincidence, I was telling someone about these just the other day

Enjoying my day off. Watching the Olympics. Left for 2 min to check on my Beef stew in the crockpot and my son went Tasmanian Devil to the TV room. Carrying my IXL Barlow today.
I was the lucky one that won that bid on the HJ lamb. Look forward to sharing it here and hopefully finding out more information on it.

Just took the ferry boat to pick this knife up from Rhidian!!
It started out as a Charlie Lamb with a cracked handle!! I asked Rhid to rehandle it with a some Stag from Japan!! He not only rehandled it, but adjusted the blade/backspring intersections to be flush in all three positions!!View attachment 3098460View attachment 3098462The Stag is from the island of Hokkaido in Northern Japan!! The Deer is the largest species of Sika; Yezu Sika Deer!!! The Stag is darkened/treated with onion skins!! Quite beautiful, and proportioned well for a larger pocket Folder!!
Rhid tells me that it's the first time he has rehandled a production knife!! Wow!!!
Thanks, Jack!!!View attachment 3099022View attachment 3099023

Good Sunday morning, Guardians! Happy to have the sunshine back and unseasonably warm temps here. I took Gatorout fishing with a friend yesterday. First spot was a pond south east of Dallas where the Texas Dept of Fish and Wildlife have stocked a big batch of trout for the winter season.
View attachment 3099757
Nothing to compare with @Chui Paulโs lovely rainbow trout of last week but a Texas trout is a rare thing. This pond is all catch and release so maybe Iโll get to catch him again later before the water warms up and they all become food for the other fish and birds.

Next we drove about 30 minutes to his familyโs farm near Kaufman, TX to fish in the livestock pond.View attachment 3099770
The locals were happy to see us but disappointed we didnโt bring food for them.

For a truly fine afternoon of fishing, good whisky and a cigar. The first two fish photos are white crappie, a very popular panfish for eating in Texas and throughout the southern USA. Delicious, especially when fried. They are known as โsac-a-laitโ in Louisiana and white perch in Mississippi although they are not perch.

There were plenty of young largemouth bass too. Very fun on a fly rod.

This fine fiberglass rod was made by a craftsman from the UK named Sandy Nelson.

I just had some work to doFortunately it didn't take long
I have an early start tomorrow, so will only have time for a quick 'Good Morning'. I'm taking court notes all week, so my Lambsfoot carrying will be restricted to the evenings too unfortunately
I've enjoyed carrying Charlie's Flat-Cap Lamb today though

Well Guardians, I feel like every time Iโve posted in the thread for the last few months Iโm having to apologize for not posting in the thread. Iโd say Iโve been busy, but itโs not even that so much as I just havenโt been on the forum much.
Anyways, hereโs a picture of my Rosewood Hartshead Barlow, which I have in my pocket today, along with a (somewhat surprising) recent eBay find that just showed up in the mail. Have a great week, Guardians!

Really niceGot this hefty lamb in the pocket for my shift. Every IXL lamb or knife I have ever handled or owned have had excellent action and stiff pulls. This knife has the perfect action. I am really tempted to buff up the bone but Iโm gotta just leave it. Have a great day Guardians.

Nice pics, Duncan. Weโre going to miss your breakfast commentary in Oregon this year. I guess one of us will have toharassenlighten the waitstaff about the virtues of a flat white on your behalf.![]()
Poor guy, he was probably starving the rest of the day.![]()
LOL! It was still in the original box - he'll probably still have it at Christmas though!Thatโs interesting (especially coming from Boring Ray!).![]()
I always enjoy watching the Olympics, particularly the less mainstream events. Curling is a particular favorite for the Winter Olympics, and the biathlon (or, as Robin Williams called it, โNorwegian drive-byโ).![]()
I'm not sure I've ever watched the entire film.Barrett! On a somewhat related note, the kids and I watched Cool Runnings this weekend.![]()
