The pouch holds my phone horizontally when I don’t wear a belt. I put rings on the loops attach a strap, sporran style.

Did I mention the pies were steak, cheese and bacon…….:yum

I called in for a pizza and a pint in town on my way home, but was shocked when my pint EXPLODED!! I was covered in beer and glass, but fortunately unhurt apart from a small nick in my finger. The bar man had a name for the phenomenom, which is apparently caused when warm glasses from the glass-washing machine cool too rapidly when they are filled with cold beer! So, why not do something about it before one of your customers loses an eye??!!!

I still have some work to do, but hoping for a slightly later start tomorrow. Have a good one Guardians

Holy cow! That's a new one on me. I've heard of exploding bottles and cans and I know heating liquids in the microwave can create mini-explosions, but a mug of beer?!

Yeah, it was crazy! No, they didn't, just replaced the pint I might email them, or just make sure I never go in there again (since it wasn't the first time it had happened there)

Had the tree cutters in this morning.
The jacaranda on the left is only a few metres from our roof, is actually the neighbours tree.
the trees in top of picture were growing on to the roof on the south side.

Oh Boy! What a sweet oldie- LOVE THIS!!!

Got this hefty lamb in the pocket for my shift. Every IXL lamb or knife I have ever handled or owned have had excellent action and stiff pulls. This knife has the perfect action. I am really tempted to buff up the bone but I’m gotta just leave it. Have a great day Guardians.

I always enjoy watching the Olympics, particularly the less mainstream events. Curling is a particular favorite for the Winter Olympics, and the biathlon (or, as Robin Williams called it, “Norwegian drive-by”).

Well Guardians, I feel like every time I’ve posted in the thread for the last few months I’m having to apologize for not posting in the thread. I’d say I’ve been busy, but it’s not even that so much as I just haven’t been on the forum much.

Anyways, here’s a picture of my Rosewood Hartshead Barlow, which I have in my pocket today, along with a (somewhat surprising) recent eBay find that just showed up in the mail. Have a great week, Guardians!

What!! First I have heard of that in a Pub Jack- unless the idiots are taking a very warm glass and pouring Cold Beer into it- which is a sin in any mans view warming Beer - should be off to the Gallows immediately!

Just took the ferry boat to pick this knife up from Rhidian!!
It started out as a Charlie Lamb with a cracked handle!! I asked Rhid to rehandle it with a some Stag from Japan!! He not only rehandled it, but adjusted the blade/backspring intersections to be flush in all three positions!!View attachment 3098460View attachment 3098462The Stag is from the island of Hokkaido in Northern Japan!! The Deer is the largest species of Sika; Yezu Sika Deer!!! The Stag is darkened/treated with onion skins!! Quite beautiful, and proportioned well for a larger pocket Folder!!
Rhid tells me that it's the first time he has rehandled a production knife!! Wow!!!
