Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks good sir.👍🏻
I don't know if there is any history of it in the US, but here, in my father's time and earlier, during home births, as the delivery approached, the midwife would famously say, "We'll be needing lots and lots of hot water!" The men would be sent to the kitchen to boil pans and kettles. Of course, there was no need for all this hot water, but it got them out from under the midwife's feet, and probably stopped a few of them feinting! 😀

Could there have been a few bottles of spirits there too?
Times have changed. Now they actually ask if the father wants to cut the umbilical cord. I wonder how many hit the floor?🤣

Good point Bob! :D I cut the umbilical cord on two of my daughters :D

My mate had to deliver his first daughter in the back of a taxi!

Okay…in our family we keep the afterbirth placenta. It’s a good source of protein, vitamins and nutrients. Just remember that a little seasoning goes a long way 😋

Borderline TMI there, all I remember is that in highschool my group of friends found a whole website dedicated to recipes for this purpose. Chili was what the group chose. 😝

...er, moving on... 😂 I've just carried out the first piece of work I've had to do this week, and it didn't take me long, thankfully :) Tomorrow is market day, so I'll call in to see how Tool Man is. I passed through today, and noticed something on one of the information boards...

Mail was good today. Wonderful package from @waynorth . We did a little bartering and It’s not too hard to guess what is waiting for him in his mailbox.

Been after some of Jacks SFOs for sometime. Especially the horn 2018. Glad to add two more to my cherished collection. Having one of Charlie’s personal 93 lambs is almost too sweet to comprehend. I’ll put these to good use, Charlie.

Night shift for me tonight. Gonna oogle over these three for the next 12 hours.

That horn lamb is stellar!!

I'll bet all you guys/gals/youngsters have been wondering if I'd forgotten to post my annual February tribute to Wombat Poop. Well, I haven't so to refresh the memory of all members of the "Guardians of the Lambsfoot", especially the members that have joined this past year, this is the straight scoop about Wombat Poop.

Interesting to see the new pattern #41 from GEC is a doctors knife with Lambsfoot and Spear blades.
Fantastic pic Steve  Interesting to see GEC producing so many Lambsfoot patterns, after their past reluctance! :D I'm sure Charlie will have them working on a Lambsfoot HJ soon! ;) :D
