Once in a lifetime experience for sure. I wish I could have brought everyone along. There was wine left over in bottles at the end of the night, unbelievably. We all ran out of steam due to the onslaught. I am still thinking of this 1989 Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes that a nice fellow (“Sam B” himself) brought to our table and left with us to enjoy with the pot du Creme!View attachment 3120354

That's kind I've had Chateau Suduiraut Your experience has me thinking of a story by Jancis Robinson, recounting how she and a bunch of other wine writers were invited to Chateau d'Yquem, and spent a whole day, or maybe even a weekend, sampling numerous vintages, some of which were over a hundred years old. When I lived in Lille, there was a merchant that specialised in old Yquem, but the prices were obviously pretty hefty! Seems like another life now

opponent was a bit of a brawler looking for 1 big hit. His defense kept dropping in the last video probably needed to be fitter, Wolfie always looks in fighting trim.
