Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

How big is your Japanese drum Jer? I've seen a few of the CS African walking sticks here, but they're huge, and look like clubs! 😱😁 I look forward to seeing your Walkabout cane πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

It made for a great pic at least Steve πŸ˜‰πŸ‘

Thanks, it's mostly melted away πŸ‘

I hope everyone is having a good day :) I dodged the emails and housework, and walked down to Charlie's cafe, phoning Tool Man on the way to let him know I'd be at the market tomorrow. After coffee, I went into town, and called in at The Yorkshire Shop in Leeds Corn Exchange, grabbed a samosa in the market, went to the bank, picked up some shopping, and then called in Leeds Art Gallery. Art galleries aren't somewhere I visit very often, but I fancied having a look at the John Atkinson Grimshaw exhibition they have on. A friend of mine has just retired after working at the art gallery for many years, so I was sure to speak to one of his former colleagues, and tell her I was sorry to hear about him being sacked after yet another incident. She looked suitably horrified! :D There's a very nice cafe there, where I happened to bump into a pal, and an Irish mate of his, from Newry, so we had a good chat over tea and cake. I then went off to meet Wolfie for coffee, so it was quite a nice afternoon :)

Twelve feet across. There's nothing like it for tuning in to the vibes of the locals.😁

It seems to me strange that Cold Steel appears to be clueless about canes/sticks. I've handled the blackthorn, and I think the knobkerry. The blackthorn looks very natural except the knob is huge compared to any real one I've seen. Almost too big to grip as a handle. I've handled one real knobkerry, and the knob was much smaller than the CS I remember. The real one was so handleable that I didn't realize what it was until I was told.

[It's snowing out there.]

I had that 1" cane tip in the basement. a crutch-tip height one would look better.
