Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

CS seems to be aiming for more acceptable carry clubs rather than walking sticks or canes.
Over an inch thick with no ergonomic comfort layer such as cork or rubber with regular use would be jarring.
They did get the city stick right 19mm shaft and smaller head, with 3/4 inch shaft easier to manipulate and comfortably use.
If you want a really thick sturdy cane the brazos oak crook cane has an inch thick shaft but the curves of the handle is contoured. I find mine comfortable to use for long use

This is my favourite style of a foot. Flexyfoot make shock absorber style foot. I want to try 1 but have plenty of feet in the cupboard to use🙄😁
You and Jack are right- more club than stick.
This one I can carry, at least. I'm embarrassed to be seen with the tomahawk pole.

Thanks Steve, I've had a good week :D

Sweet pic, you've really captured those wooden covers
Glad to hear it and thanks buddy !

This was one of my dad's favorite movies and mine too. I have it on a vhs tape around here somewhere.

Good morning Guardians, it's still cool here, but after the wet winter we've had, it's nice to have a few days without rain. I'll be heading down to the market after I've had a shave. Hope everyone has a good day :) Got L'Ariete in my pocket - shown here with my cool pen! :)

Have a good day at the market 👍

Another stunner of Cosimo 👍

Jack
I like to do my research and when trying to find legitimate info about CS walking sticks it’s videos of violent water melons or bottles of water attacking poor defenceless CS users.
These items must have a personal grudge against CS. You don’t see other brand users being attacked by inanimate objects on a regular basis😉
LOL! :D Did you ever see any of the DVDs CS used to release 20 years ago Mitch? Continuous scenes of cars being stabbed, water-bottles being slashed, and the water-melons of course! :D My favourite scene, out of all of them, was Lynn Thompson, dressed in safari gear, stalking a plastic lion with a spear! 😂
Sweet spalty Bob  I hope your ears haven't been burning buddy! The girl in the cheese shop told me it was her last day, as she is moving to Bristol. She's originally from Florida, so I told her I had a pal who'd recently moved there from New Jersey. She said all her family were originally from Jersey, and that it's quite common for older folks to move to Florida to escape the cold weather :) Nice girl, I went and bought her a leaving present from the Yorkshire Shop! :D

It looks useful Jer  Considerably more so than the CS Sjambok which an ex-girlfriend bought me many years ago, and which has been on top of my wardrobe ever since! 🫣 😂 Always good to see your Space Lamb :)

Great film Steve, I saw it at the pictures with my dad, when I was a kid :D I have it on DVD (and on VHS before)! 😂👍
Have a good day at the market 👍
Thanks mate :)
Recycled photo from last spring since it’s storming out today.

Jack,I thought it was my tinnitus.😂
It is common for the Exodus as people age up north. There seems to be a financial advantage, as well as, a desire for warmer weather.

Sure do, they were shockers. Didn’t he also do big game hunting videos as well?😩😳

The market was practically deserted this morning! It's a bit breezy, and there's rain forecast later, but generations of traders never missed a day on the market. Only the old stalwarts were there, Golden Gordon, Robert The Badge, Boring Ray, Tool Man, Fireman Sam, The Codfather, The Odd Couple, Charlie Chan, Miserable Ian, and Debs The Gangster's Mol :(

With Nobber Al missing, Ex-Para Steve hung out on the tool stall for a bit, Big J passed by, as did Harry Hotballs, and Gravel stayed for half an hour or so. I had an hour or so myself, and then decided to go for a cup of Arabic tea at a Kurdish stall in the market, call in at the cheese shop, and then head home. I might even do a bit of housework  Hope everyone is having a good day

LOL! :D I guess there's a fair bit to be saved on winter heating bills :D

Yes, I was looking for the plastic lion scene, and YT is full of them 🫣

Stark contrast from last week at the market. A bunch of fair weather marketers I guess 🫤
