Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Happy Tuesday, Guardians. Busy Tuesday morning in a busy work week with business travel coming up in a few days. No lollygagging whatsoever in my near future. Recycled photo of @waynorth lamb with one of Charlie’s favorite rocks.

Sorry about the lack of lollygaggin' Dave :( That's a cool pic though 😎👍
Thanks Jack, amazing what can be found on food labels. The problem is, you need a degree in the lab sciences to understand them.
Yes indeed Bob, I remember researching teething rusks when my eldest was a youngster, and the lowest sugar rusks available here in the mid 1980's had 13% sugar, and just as much salt! 😱
Good morning Guardians !

Old J.Rodgers today 👍

I hope everyone is having a good day 🙂 Matt is working from home today, so he met me for a coffee in Charlie's cafe. After that I headed into town, called in at the bank, picked up a few things, then had some lunch at a place on Leeds' oldest street, Kirkgate 😋

It's a couple of years since there was a fire at the bottom end of the street, and it looks like they're just waiting for the old buildings to fall down now 🙄

That is a good one, what are those covers called?

That's a pretty great collection, Rob, love seein' the old bone! I grabbed some new bone today.

Always a favorite of mine, I love the blue rope covers.

Howdy Guardians! Finally got the #93 Ram>Lamb prototype dialed in. Did a couple things the hard way and wouldn't you know I'm pleased with how it turned out. This one was a user previously, so I'm gonna hang onto it because I don't have one of my own regrinds anymore. But I've got 8 or 10 others NIT I'm gonna grind to be available soon.

Did a couple of #15 frames too. This Navy knife is a gift for a friend, and though I'm not sure why this is the first Caplifter I've done, I think it's gonna serve someone very well.

Have a great day, all!

Looks nice with the tortoise shell, Dan!

Happy Friday to you. Jack, a belated thanks for the Market Report. Glad to hear the Ted’s are doing well and the Market attendance is picking up with the better weather.
It’s been speedo weather here, high 80’s to low 90’s. Thank God I don’t have a speedo. If the weather continues like this it’ll be the hottest March we’ve had here. Santa Cruz is on the North end of the Monterey Bay. Whales already are migrating by. As I marine biologist like George Constanza, I would guess maybe the warmer water is the reason. Today I endeavor to do some gardening. I’m doing that early this morning when it’s cooler. Here’s a pic of the bay from earlier this week.

“The sea was angry that day, my friends…” 🤣

I expect this new Lambsfoot from GEC will be in my pocket quite a bit.

Very nice, Rachel. I think the smooth oiled bone #41s turned out really nice.

I went for a coffee with friends in Leeds Art Gallery yesterday, and spotted this bizarre sight in the gift shop! Kind of creepy I thought! 😱🫣😁

Look like the would fit just right around the end of a pocket knife. Hands for Lambs! 🤣

Looks like a tasty lunch, Jack. 😋

Looks like you’ve been putting that notebook to good use. I’ve got the same one going right now. That cover design (Swedish Camo) is probably my favorite that they’ve done. Unfortunately it was discontinued a few years back. I’ve got a small stash of them, mostly from smaller online shops that had them in stock after they’d been discontinued, but that seems to have dried up now so I use them sparingly.

I’ve been carrying my GL-24 a lot this past week.
