The show is based on the classic film, which was adapted from an article that my old friend and client PF Kluge co-wrote for Life Magazine in the early 70s. I was a kid at the time, so I didn’t have anything to do with the first life of this project. But I had the privilege of representing Kluge (and his co-author Tom Moore) in the back half of their careers.
