My first old one, my first two-blader that works, my biggest (4" closed, 3.25" main), nice and sharp, with excellent action.

The Big Uns always make me think of RonStropped and oiled - ready for duty!!!View attachment 3171180
It seems to be a drink aficionados really enjoy, but it's always been a bit lost on me. There was a Yorkshire gin resurgence a few years ago, but having been given a few samples, I realised the taste varied widely, some tasted more like vodka to me, as indeed does the gin of Panama, which combined with milk, is their national drinkIt’s never my first choice, but I don’t mind a gin & tonic now and then.
How many other vegetables get served with custard?!It’s obviously a very divisive vegetable.![]()
I'd hope to do a Big Un as an SFO before Ron passed, but it never happened I'm afraid. I did pick up quite a few at the factory thoughGood looking knife, Charlie. Most likely rosewood, I’d say. I know Jack had some runs done in both African and Indonesian Rosewood, but I can’t remember if there were any big ‘uns, or if they were just regular ‘uns, or which were African or Indonesian or Canadian or what.![]()
One of my favourite Lambs
Thanks pal! What a relief!!!Thanks, and have a good rest, Jack!!!!

What a feast!Yesterday's lunch of homemade sourdough with ham and potato soup (in a real bowl, not "fine china" like the bread). Figured I should show that I did in fact carry this fine lamb lol!

It must have come as quite a shock Bob, I sure hope you don't have to inhale any more smoke brotherThanks Jack.
Being new down here, I'm very unfamiliar with this crazy weather.
Truly a different world Jack. Fortunately, the winds have kept most of the smoke away.It must have come as quite a shock Bob, I sure hope you don't have to inhale any more smoke brother![]()
You are probably far enough south that you get more rainfall in summer. Thanks Jack.
