Thanks Jack! Yessir, that is a phin. I have three or four I think for when other folks are over. I used an Aeropress for a decade and enjoyed it, but eventually the rubber plunger began to rot. I find the phin makes a nice cup and have been using it for about a decade now. I don't make the traditional Vietnamese coffee with the condensed milk (though I have tried it "just because") as I have always preferred mine black.

Just the same here Michael :) I actually won mine, with some Vietnamese coffee, in a restaurant raffle. Before that, I didn't know of their existence. I keep meaning to get my Aeropress out of my camping cupboard. I have the travel version, but put it away after scalding myself some years back. I have tried all sorts of things over the years, but realised that I actually prefer to have my coffee out, and I couldn't compete with Charlie's cafe :D :thumbsup:

I'd take a tot down for Tool Man, but since he has the palate of a dead crow, the imagination of a goldfish, spends like a man with no arms, and insists that Lidl's Cheapest is the best rum available anywhere in the world, it would be entirely wasted on the fat fool! :rolleyes:
 
Market Day tomorrow, and I'll be heading down to see Tool Man and the gang, and hopefully meet up with Wolfie, as I have some stuff for his kids :thumbsup:

Golden Gordon seems hugely impressed by Tool Man's ability to fit the annual meat production of a small country between 2 pieces of bread! 🫣 🤣

I did have time for some slingshot practice though ;) Hoping to get out with Matt and the kids for a walk at the weekend, and fit in a slingshot session, and a couple of pints 🍻 We made plans in the cafe over lunch, Matt had a kofta sandwich, and I had avocado on toast again. I enjoyed the coffee so much, I could have had a third, but that would definitely have been dangerous! 😵‍💫 I told Hisham that if he thinks of a name for his coffee-roaster, I'll get him a plaque made! 😁 Just waiting on my delivery, and apart from a little housework, I'll be lollygagging for the rest of the afternoon ;) :thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is having a good week. I didn't sleep great, and am up early, so I hope I get the chance of a nap later. The weather looks pretty miserable again, but maybe it'll brighten up later.
