Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I hope everyone is having a good day :) I've been a bit sore from my fall, but met up with Wolfie, in Charlie's, for coffee, croissants, and a good chat :) Apart from that I've just been sorting out my stuff for London, though I'll be travelling as light as possible ;) Unfortunately, the weather is kind of weird while I'm away, on Thursday the forecast is for rain, and temperatures around 59F, Friday it's forecast cloudy, possibly with showers, and temperatures around 73F, and on Saturday, while still cloudy, the temperature should be up to 78F 🤷‍♂️

Thanks David, just a headache, and a bit sore generally, but nothing too bad. Still can't believe I fell out of bed! 🫣 😖😁👍

When I was about 6 years old we went to the seaside and stayed in a caravan (camper) for a long weekend. The first night I was in the top bunk and I rolled off three times while sleeping. The third time my parents left me on the floor to sleep. 😁👍

My internet connection has been very slow today  Apart from lollygaggin' here, I have some big files to download, and they're taking ages 🧐 Got the docs tomorrow afternoon, and inevitably, now I finally have an appointment, my throat is finally starting to get better - but then it's 12 days since I requested an appointment

LOL! You've just stirred a childhood memory of my own Steve :D I was 3 when we went on holiday for the first time, and we stayed in a small caravan. I don't remember too much about it, but I remember going to wake my uncle, who had come with us, for breakfast. He is my youngest uncle, and only 10 years older than me. He was in a small room, with bunk beds, and there was only a couple of feet gap between the bed and the wall. I opened the door to find that both he and the mattress had slid off the top bunk in the night, and he had either slept through it, or just gone back to sleep, because he was half upside down between the wall and the fallen mattress! 😂
Beautiful

If I remember te story right I think I might have slept through the last fall and my parents just left me there on the floor.

I knew I had an old photo somewhere from that trip. I found it in some old photo scans my brother did of the old family pictures.
Here's my Granny, Grandpa and my mum with me and my brother. My brother had got just got a mask and snorkel and was so proud of it he wore it for the picture. 🤣👍

Fantastic Steve :D I stayed in quite a few caravans like that as a kid. My dad worked in a big factory, and there were guys there with small caravans who'd hire them out for a few Pounds a week. They were very basic compared to today. The holiday I mentioned was at a place called Humberstone, so obscure I'd have to look up where it is! :D

It's 12.30am here, and I'm still downloading those files! 😖 🥱

Good morning Guardians, it's quiet today. It was 1am before I was finally able to go to bed, then I couldn't sleep! 😖 Awake early this morning too  I have plenty to do today. No market tomorrow, as I'll be on my way to London, and sad to say, I've decided not to carry a Lamb during my trip, too much anti-knife stuff there at the moment, metal-detectors, security patrols, random searches, etc. With going through so many railway and underground stations, even an old feller like me isn't safe from it :( But today, I have the Ecotribo Ghost Lamb in my pocket :) Have a great day Guardians

One could put one's mattress on the floor to prevent falls, next to a hanging cargo net to haul oneself up in the morning.
I hope it doesn't come to that Jer (I did have a futon until 10 years ago)! :D Enjoying your calendar

I needed a couple of things from the shops, and had a letter to post, so I called in at Charlie's for coffee ;)
