Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I was gonna suggest that next year we should have elk handled lambsfoot. :p
I would try it, but he's still a pretty good shot!:)
I love to go straight up from Bartlesville OK to the Kansas line, hang a left and straight across through Guymon and on along the Cimmaron River into NM by Capulin Volcano into Raton. From there west to the Red River through Kit Carson Nat Forest to Angel Fire and on to Santa Fe and Taos. One of my favorite trips. It just doesn't get any better really. :)

That is a long haul! Just not real scenic around Guymon! Use to go up there when working for OK DPS... but can be therapeutic!
I have never been to Angel Fire...have to do that trip as well!

Great ebony!! I've missed out on too many!

You bet I have. I love Oklahoma from north to south. We spend quite a bit of time just south of Amarillo in Palo Duro. An amazing place and very close to you.
Yeah, been through there quite a few times, just never in the canyon.
We like coming your way to go camping, either Devils Den, or Cedar Lake on the OK side, and Queen Wilhelmina. Nice thing about living in central OK, you can go west to the plains, or east to the hills.

Laying some lambs in here Jack to make you smile when you wake up. :D View attachment 1069725
Dwight, I like the way you think my friend! :D And visions of Ironwood danced through his head!!

That is very true. You are "strategically" located. :D
Palo Duro is one of my favorite places in the US. But only in the late fall or winter. Just too crowded any other time.

My goodness that is a beautiful lamb Ron! Just wow.

Boy, this thread moves fast! May have to catch up tomorrow--it's getting late. But I wanted to post a couple of pics of a new knife I received today:

Wish I had better light, but it's late at night here. I'll be taking more pictures this weekend. Fit and finish are fantastic, blade centered, pull nice and stout. Perfect size, just a wee bit larger than the stag Ashley's Choice. I must say I am very pleased. Thanks, Jack! Guess what I'll be toting for a while?

(Did all the Texas knives get delivered on the same day?)

Very nice, Vince! Nice blend of dark and lighter colors! Look forward to a picture in the outdoor light!

In the group picture, mine is in the upper left near Rachel's. There is one knife in between hers and mine, and there is a darker knife in between my knife and the one next to Rachel's near the bolster sides, if that makes sense. If not, I might have to learn how to draw a circle or an x on the picture like I see others doing. I'm sure I can learn. "I'm smart! I'm not dumb, like people say!" I am pretty tired right now, though.

okey dokey! :D Canmore, Alberta, Canada
