So I’ve joined the OOPS Club. Dropping not once, or twice, but three times in the making this shot. I don’t see any damage, but only a quick once over was performed. I’ved learned to live with the dings of live. I only have to look in the mirror, lol.

Almost as good as "chatoyancy"!
It's also used a lot to describe figurative maple on primitive guns, tomahawks and knife handles. It's been used recently in reference to horn and ironwood lambsfoots.
Man, what a beauty!! Look forward to seeing more photos of it!Newest addition, large buffalo.

Morning Vince, your new Lambsfoot is looking as perky as your coffee my friend![]()
Well done, good pic
They started trying to introduce the metric system here when I was 10, with varying degrees of 'success', but I still think in inches, feet, yards, miles, pints, ounces, pounds, etc, as well as Fahrenheit. I can convert to the metric equivalent, but I don't relate to it at all. I have to keep a ruler on my desk because so many British knife dealers now give the measurements in centimetresI know a guy who has an inch tattooed on his thumb, uses it all the time!
