Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Actually got the knife Thursday night. The mailman delivered the package to my neighbor instead of me and of course he was kind enough to give me the package the day of. I was busy over the weekend but you might be able to tell that I've been using it some. Got grime from my hands all over the blade.
The bolsters are lacking a bit of nickel, the blade is slightly off center, and the pull was might strong when I first opened the knife, but I don't regret making the purchase one bit. Happy to finally be apart of the Guardians :)

P.S. Actually forgot to email Jack notifying him that I received the parcel
P.S.S. Some of you Guardians wouldn't mind telling me what you use to clean your blades?

Looks great! Congratulations. Don't forget to pick out your knife from the "pile" picture so Jack can add your name. It's the last step before you actually become a member :D

Congratulations and welcome to the Guardians!:D

Thanks Dwight, that is a wonderful photo my friend
Thank you kind sir.

Thank you. Beautiful lines running down the length of your Lambsfoot. What I really like about this image, is the great use of depth of field. I use an older iPhone 7+ which has no ability to throw background out of focus.
I am using an iPhone 7 plus also. Interesting.

Dwight, how about a family picture of your Lambsfoot knives?
I'll see if I can get one soon. :)

Very very nice Mark!

Another Stag beauty.
Thanks You! :)

Thank you very much, Ron, I was quite fortunate to receive such a beautiful example.:)
It is a beauty indeed Dave! :)

You too Ron, stellar stag :)
Thank you my friend! :)

Carrying this Midnight Special today as I go through photos taken in 2005 in the Land of OZ . MaYse's had the best Hamburger and Lemon pie in the Outback

I had to laugh when I first saw this and even now when I look at the photos . WANGI FALLS

Beautiful golden colors in that one. Highly refined mineral oil is all I ever use for cleaning and lubrication on a new knife. On a more neglected knife I'll break out the 3-in-one.

Beautiful grain Mark!

Jack, I'm sorry you have a hyatal hernia; those can cause coughing and mimic heart pain. To look on the bright side, it's better to know what's going on, and it's better than actually having heart or lung problems. Hopefully the docs can get you fixed up.
Me too, when I pick up an old book or magazine, they are the first thing I look at :)

Isn't it funny how annoying advertising can be when it's new, but the old stuff is interesting and makes you nostalgic? In the USA, some food companies used to print Passover Hagaddahs for their Jewish customers, and give them away for free in grocery stores. Just like nowadays, if it's free, you have to look at ads.

I don't remember which company made the ones our family used, but there was an ad on the last page that showed all the different foods they made that were kosher for Passover, and which ones to "enjoy the rest of the year." :D

I hope everyone has a great week. Spring is springing around here...

Very very nice Mark!

That is interesting. It sounds like I need to try shooting from a different perspective.

Ramrodmb Ramrodmb Nice figuring.

@pjsjr Thank you.

Thanks You! :)

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
I am enjoying my Ironwood very much! Thanks, Jack.:)
I might try some fine sanding to see if I can bring out even more depth in the wood. It's very hard stuff and I think it might respond well to a fine sanding up through the grits and buffing.

One likely Company might possibly have been Manischewitz. Your great looking Ironwood is the only one that I noticed with a reddish tint. Really nice.

Gave me a smile to see the photos and read the captions. Brave people? No, dumb people. :)
