Another of Trevor's buffalo horn scales.

Welcome! :)

Great to catch up on all the posts and activity from yesterday - very funny lead up Jack, and well done JP!:)

Thanks for those observations, Greg, my friend. I very much appreciate your kind and perceptive words.:)

Nice to see those Abletts - I must admit, his use of the long brass bolsters and endcaps is growing on me, after seeing JP and Legineng's pics.

Welcome Legineng, that Lambsfoot almost has a maritime feel to it, with that brass furniture - it sure would be a slick pairing with a Westley Richards double!:thumbsup:

That's very interesting indeed Tom, I must say I've never really given Wright's steel much thought, it worked OK for me, so that was good enough. I'd like to think they had a more scientific approach, but I'd be surprised! :D

Edit - I'll have to ask them how long they've been using C70, I seem to recall they were using something else a few years back, I don't know if anyone else can remember?

Jack I can't start a conversation because your inbox is full ;). I sent you my mail address in pm. Hope you get it!

Sorry my friend, not sure how that happened  What a system, no ability to save "conversations", and the message system is so clunky nobody at all seems to understand it  I will email you later JP, or if you prefer you should be able to 'PM' me now

Edit - I have your details now my friend, thanks :)

not sure if that is a particularly well made example or cherry picked for the video, but hope all of mine come nice like that

I don't think the video has anything to do with Wright's, they can't even do emails! :D

Happy Friday to you as well, Jack! I am counting the last few hours before I can leave work and start enjoying the weekend. I am hoping that you all are able to do the same soon, if not already, as well.

Rosie perched prettily amongst the lichen.

Thanks a lot Dylan, another great pic of Rosie :) I'm about to hit the hay here, but I'll be heading out tomorrow with a Lambsfoot in my pocket

Great photo of your Buffalo A. Wright, Jack. Does the book hint at the activities you two have in store for the day?

Purely by coincidence, I decided early this morning that I'll also be carrying a Buffalo Lambsfoot tomorrow. Here it is lounging about in the garden this evening ahead of going back to work tomorrow:

I'm quite excited to have it back in my pocket. :)

Thanks a lot Greg, great to see you with a Lambsfoot again my friend :)

I've been visiting a West Yorkshire town called Halifax today :) First we visited the newly re-opened Piece Hall - http://www.thepiecehall.co.uk/ - a quite incredible 18th Century structure.

Then we visited 15th Century Shibden Hall - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shibden_Hall - and the adjacent parkland :)

I was quite impressed by this gate :)
