Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Jack, the walk and talk on my all Lambsfoot knives is one of the first things that really impressed me. I love that solid “thwack” on opening and closing. I have never really had any problems with knives having too strong of a pull. I can understand where they can be problematic for some people and I can sympathize! I will say one thing for sure, you don’t want to get your fingers in the way when you are closing the blade. :eek: Personally I would not want the pull changed. :)

That’s a great picture of your ‘18 Ebony! :thumbsup:

Here’s my ‘18 Ebony that’s sharing pocket time with one of its domestic friends today! :D

Great to hear your perspective Ron :) I guess if anyone really struggled with the blade due to arthritis for example, something could be sorted out :thumbsup: Some of the first knives I was given as a kid were British Army and Navy clasp knives, HUGE blades on massive springs! :eek: I always make sure my fingers are well out of the way of the blade well! :eek:

Thanks you my friend, great to see that one of yours Ron :) :thumbsup:

Good day, Guardians!
Some very nice examples from round 2 showing up, congrats to all.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Jack, I will echo Dwight and Ron in saying that I find the strong snap on these Lambfoots exceedingly satisfying. I would not want to mess with changing them, (unless you wanted to go even stronger)...:D
All jokes aside, I like them how they are.:thumbsup:

Nice to hear Mark, you have been posting some spectacular pics of yours my friend :) :thumbsup:

I like "block" too!

Yeah, I blocked that number, it does help. There is a service you can register with here, after that it becomes illegal to 'cold call' your number, doesn't stop it entirely, but it definitely makes a difference. The one I got this afternoon wasn't a sales pitch, but it just went on way too long. If they are going to lie about how long it will take, they shouldn't be surprised when folks hang up :thumbsup:

Thank you sir, it's been my pleasure! She is very photogenic. :)

@btb01 Barrett, would you mind dropping a pin on the Guardians map for me in Omaha, NE 68104 ? As well as a link to the map again? Thank you.:thumbsup:

Thanks Mark :) I think there's a link to the map in Barrett's sig line (I thought I had it bookmarked, but can't seem to find it :( ) :thumbsup:

Your pancake/stag post pushed me over the edge. My wife was getting ready to go to bed when I said "how do you feel about pancakes right now?" Fifteen miles to the IHOP. Tall stack of buttermilk pecan pancakes and link sausage. :D

Beautiful grain and chatoyance on that one Kevin!

Thank you Jack. :)

The things we do for love...and pancakes. Love how the stag matches the tree bark.

Jack Black Jack Black Every time I see the Ebony, the heart skips a beat. Losing that powerful thwack upon the blade opening is reason enough to not alter the build.

@dc50 Beautiful. Suitable for framing.

@joeradza Perfect captured moment.

@JohnDF I can feel the warmth.

@pjsjr This one put a smile on my face.

@JoeGoblyn That Rosewood is very nice.

@flatblackcapo Your new Ironwood looks great against the green.

@JTB_5 All the great images from everyone like yours, makes me wish we had a calendar.

Ramrodmb Ramrodmb A nice and Sunny look of your Ironwood.

You're a very lucky man
I'm interested to hear what folks think, because I could always ask Wright's to lighten the pull with large future orders.
...some customers asked for a softer pull, others for a stiffer pull...
:eek: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" The pull is an essential facet of the allure. Stay away from that aggravating rabbit hole!
...I know that the Ironwood came from the US, but I don't know anymore than that :)
Not to sound pedantic, but for information, "Desert Ironwood" is actually correct.
I looked it up one time and here is an edited summary of what I found from Wikipedia (in part):
The desert ironwood, Olneya, is native to the southwestern United States and extreme northwestern Mexico in the Baja California Peninsula and the Sonoran Desert...
In the southwestern US its range includes the Colorado Desert of southeast Southern California, a part of the Sonoran Desert, and western and southern Arizona.
