Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

We could start by returning all the cursed pirate's gold...
Thanks, Guys. You'd be surprised at all the nerdy stuff I have laying around. :D
I'm not sure I would John, you should see my place! :D
Great picture John!
I wouldn't class myself as a hoarder(some people have) but I have spent many hours and $$$ at flea markets, junkyards, GW and SA etc. I have a full basement and it is difficult to move around in because of the treasures I have brought home.

I know what you mean Preston, and I don't have a basement! :D

I'm thinking Lucy is a pretty nice backup to your fumble de-peg.;)

Thanks buddy :)

Just so you all know Lucy wasn't injured in her tumble ;)

You sound like my mother-in-Law. She said she was a collector, not a hoarder. When she passed away we had to rent several dumpsters to clean her place out. :D

The cool part about this thread growing so fast is I get an eyeful whenever I get to pop back in.

I’m carrying my rosewood today (again) and actually having a day off and getting to look at all these great images inspired me. Here’s some pics of my “collection”.

My ebony isn’t all black, but I think the stripe look is cool. I haven’t been able to sharpen the tip of my ironwood as was discussed 50(!) pages ago. But I love all these knives and, honestly, I’m gonna be getting one for a custom recover soon.

Those are real nice, quite a few of my older Buck 110s are streaked that way, but, I would prefer the solid black. Well photographed also.

Jack if it's anything you gain with age, it's understanding. I've lived in Levi's for most of my life. Speaking of looking swell, the white bone? of yours is stunning.

Thank you my friend, it's an old Alfred Blackwell, but that photo shows it at its best, it really was a beat-up old thing when I found it, looked like it had been run over, the main blade had been pushed so far over, the central liner was bent, some of the bone on the pile side was missing, and it had also seen a lot of hard use. Still, after straightening the blade, and securing the remaining pile-side bone with acrylic, it's a functional knife I used to carry often, and in spite of it's hard life, there is absolutely no play in the blades, and the steel sharpens up like only the old stuff really can :)

Wow, what a great collection Joe :) I love the two-tone ebony, makes it really special in my opinion  Now, what are you going to do with that tip? Did Duncan's solution not work?

Sweet collection. It will be interesting to see the one destined for re-cover.

Nice flock of Lambs, Joe.

Thank you!!

I did my best with the pics. Cardboard box top and natural lighting for the win!

Very nice Joe. only the cool kids collect Lambsfoot knives.:p

Duh!! That’s why we’re all in here.

I like the two-tone, but I still want to get a proper jet black one too. As for Duncan’s solution; it reads well and makes perfect sense. I’m sure I’ll be able to do it. I just haven’t had any down time where I could sit down and put in the effort required. As soon as I do it, though, I’ll post pics.

By the way - I would not decline the offer

You're not slow at coming forward are you Ray?

It finally stopped raining for 11 hours, the girls are getting their game in on Stagurday!
