Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

You're not the famous Sheffield cowboy Roscoe Banks are you? ;) You definitely need a Lambsfoot! :) The finish of the standard knives is reasonable, I think, for the price, you will find gaps usually, but only small ones. If you get yourself over to Ecclesall Rd, you can handle a few before you buy (please don't mention any stockists here though as it's against the forum rules)
Thanks Jack, a small gap here or there I can live with

I'm familiar with the place on eccy Road but I actually live in Cardiff now, I grew up in Sheffield and it still runs through my veins!

I'm close to somewhere I think I could handle some, I'm sure you know the place ;). I'll let you know if I end up with one!

Ah, a bit of a stretch to Hunter's Bar then! :D I think all us Sheffielders have steel and wheel-swarf in our blood ;) I know the place, you mean, and deal with them regularly my friend. Stock varies with some of the big suppliers, as they can have had it in for a while, so I'd recommend buying in person if you can. Good luck, and hope you get yourself a nice one

Awsome photo! Looks like you're ready for the weekend
Thanks Dennis.

I love your photos Dwight
Thank you Jack.

Three amazing pictures, I need to step up my game some day. Well done, All.
Much obliged John.

Incredible stag this morning!
Gracias amigo.

Jack and John I'm with you on the trees. I feel the same way John Muir did about all trees. Trees are almost sacred.

I recently bought a rosewood A Wright from the place near you and it is a beauty, no gaps at all. If you go and handle a few I am sure you would get a really nice one. If they are not to your liking I think there may well be a few other sharp and shiny things on offer to make the trip worthwhile! Good luck.

Okay OG. I agree with you. Besides Muir would roll over in his grave if anyone felt they were not sacred. And they are.

Maybe that's why I like wood handled knives so much?
Dwight, your water pictures are the BEST!
Thank you my friend. I appreciate it John.

Like houses for shelter, fire for warmth, forests for wildlife - that is exactly why they are sacred. Just my opinion.
Verdad y mucho mas.

Wow, you guys are really knocking it out of the park today! Just stunning
Thank you Jack. :)
